I thought this was going to be about Val Kilmer at first but I didn't expect Mike Hurley to be mentioned. Thanks to you, he was put on my radar and I enjoyed seeing him at a show down the road a coupl

Also just remembered Brujeria (Sorcery) - it's a real vibe.  Themes of colonization (Germany/Chile) and Indigenous resistence. Very bleak but rich.

Raj, I think you should think of this as a pause ::graemilin   as opposed to a finite end. I really get a vibe that new fans of the music the Stut celebrates will appear in the future as people crave

Bless him, I don't know where to start since his output was so prolific.  All the early Lani Hall vocal stuff is my favourite.  Has that "Yes, miss Pan-Am stewardess, I *would* like another one" vibe.

Glad you pulled "Gate of Dreams".  I didn't come across it until about ten years ago and the moods really hit me.  I had "Cityscapes" with Brecker before, but this is nicer.

See, and soon all this will be gone... Like tears in the rain.  I dunno what the vibe is currently like at Waxi but it was never or will be, the same as here.

I like Amsterdam/Holland, but I think I’d like to live in Brussels next. It’s got a unique vibe. Kind of scuzzy, bohemian, dotted with little bistros and places you could respectably while away an aft

I got the chance to speak with Andy a while back and he had nothing but great things to say about Carla (and Steve).  I never got to see her play live but hopefully she's inspired people to continue w

Go! WOH was honestly the best festival I've been to and I've worked on a lot of festivals... Amazing and varied music, and genuinely the best vibe helped by a lot of loved up people and a lot of serio

Yeah I saw La Collectionneuse recently as well - similar vibe. It had much more forward plot motion than Reinette and Mirabelle, which wasn't helped by being episodic. But yeah definitely feels a bit

Nice. I have meaning to see the third Harry Palmer film but haven't gotten around to it yet. The painting was made by Ramon Alejandro, who is Cuban. It's called "La Virgin del Apocalipsis"

The Solar Plexus - Always reminded me of Mid-70s Zappa that one, like a Ruth Underwood/Dukey vibe, which is a good thing.  Can't believe they let that cover go with Horizon-Wonk™.
