Recent Rock That Hits In Thr Clrub

So I've been thinking that when I do play some of teh rock, its usually older stuff, classic 70's and 80's records. I know there must be a decent amount of good, recent stuff, from say the last 10 years of so. DJs, what are some of your staples? Hipster, euro, white belt, nu-disco, whatever, as long as it HITS. Do my homework Soulstut. Knowledge me....

    Yeah, DFA stuff is pretty much exactly what I had in mind, J.b,121b,121Also, the Justice remix of the MGMT joint was INSANE! Had that on repeat for a week or two, I was driving some of the audiophiles I work with crazy with that shit...

    Cut Copy and VHS or Beta have some jams. I like Zongamin, although it might be hit or miss, since it's less conventional stuff. Chikinki - Something More (Tiefschwarz Remix) is fusking killer. Some people ride pretty hard for stuff on the Kitsune label.

    Yeah man that remix 12'' of The Blacks Kids "not gonna..." is my shit. Same with Holy Ghost "Hold On" and The OG Vers. of MGMT's "Electric Feel"(hated the Justice remix).

    are santogold and the ting tings considered rock? not sure what genre i'd put them in, but rock doesn't come to mind. same with plantlife (no mention of them yet)...
