  • Kobe Bryant, LA Lakers -all star starter
    Baron Davis, Golden State -yes
    Manu Ginobili, San Antonio -yes
    Allen Iverson, Denver -shoe-in
    Stephen Jackson - Dubs
    Tracy McGrady, Houston -yes
    Steve Nash, Phoenix -yes
    Tony Parker, San Antonio -yes
Chris Paul, New Orleans -hell yes
Brandon Roy, Portland -on the bubble
Deron Williams, Utah -yes, but in a slump

Every point guard on this list deserves to be in the game. Someone is getting screwed. I'm guessing either Tony Parker, Baron Davis, or Deron Williams.

The ones from that list that don't make it, should have a 1-on-1 tournament with officiating. Deron Williams vs Tony Parker in the 1st round. Toughness vs blinding speed.

  • holy crap. This win streak is a godsend to the long suffering NBA fans in the state of Oregon.

I must say, that was a hell of a game to watch. Of course, the Nuggets were coming off of a double OT game where the lost two more of their 4 bigs (Camby and Martin plus Nene and Hunter), and it was still a close game. I knew they were gonna burn out before the 4th. It was too obvious. Portland and Denver are now neck and neck in the division, although I don't think Portland is old or experienced enough to keep it up for long. Fun team to watch, though, I have to admit.

Nice coming out party for Rondo tonight against
Orlando, one of 4 Celtics to break 20 in the game -
Celtics going into Christmas 2 wins shy of their total
for the entire season last year!

He isnt the man to take them to the next level, but he did a good job building up the culture.

Rick Carlyle is not the answer. Dude is a good coach but he's a micromanager.
    That's not what ChiTown needs...IMO.

Pat Riley is lookin mad old these days.

I cant wait for the Bynum/Howard rivalry.

  • BYNUM STILL OWNS STOUDAMIRE. DEAL.

    Phoenix MUST DEAL.

LA is looking real good out there - young squad in some ways but a definite presence. Look forward to seeing you guys at least 2nd round this year.

Fo sho. 2nd round would be nice. But LA is still young and still sucks at closing games.

Great game, the Lakers look strong, and I know your Bill Walton Edition BVDs are creamed, but let's not get carried away here...

  • yuichiyuichi Urban sprawl 11,332 Posts
Please let me get carried away! They were looking enthused and getting the bulk of their points inside. This is reason to celebrate damnit! Stoudamire was looking like a midget under Bynum's outstretched arms. Ariza made Hill wish he was retired!!! Kobe was Kobe. I just had some Moet. That's how we do. pEACE. Sorry for being obnoxious. I need more liquor.

On the good side Carlisle insists on defense. On the bad he's one of those control freaks like van gundi who at heart doesn't trust his players and wants to call every play on offense which are always half court sets.

No doubt but half court offense aint shit w/out a Post player.

Detroit/Indiana/Orlando/Boston all have dominant/reliable Post Play.
