West guards are a lock, but if they weren't around, I'd probably pick B. Diddy amd Roy. CP3 and D Williams deserve a mention too though. AI and Kobe should probably take it by a longshot though, based on popular vote.
you do realize nobody cares about your anal retentive poasts right? And why do you feel JP or any of these guys need back-up? lol
i'm not specifically backing them up so much as pointing out your lack of worthwhile contribution anywhere in this thread.
i see your self-awareness is about as on-point as your skills in picking an all-star lineup, so i think if i were to actually try to be constructive with my criticism, it would fall upon deaf ears.
keep on posting, kiddo. i'm sure you deserve the shine.

I have the only post on this page about basketball... Anybody else care to contribute? Poast your Allstar Lineup (a realistic one) and let's get back to this shit.
I felt bad leaving Garnett out, but he is really the obvious choice. I assume he gets the vote.
Marion vs. Melo is a good argument for Small Forward in the West. Marion contributes more across the stat line, but Melo is a more prolific scorer. Nash is probably the more obvious choice at point guard. AI really shines at the 2, but you can't leave Kobe out.

The West can go about 10 deep at PG while the East has 2 or 3.

That's a pretty good list, but Bosh over Garnett?
And since Duncan is balloted as a Center this year, I'd put him over Camby.
Chris Paul is playing kind of ridiculous right now.

Yeah it's tough to leave Garnett out. I know he'll get the vote, I guess that's my "less obvious" list to some degree. Bosh is fun to watch but KG kinda has a similar game and he's way ahead of Bosh in terms of experience and developed skills.
Depending on the Chinese vote this year, Duncan has the next best chance of getting in. Camby probably doesn't have a chance (it'll go Yao/Duncan or Duncan/Yao) but Camby is way more fun to watch than both of them IMO.

I do not think you understand the concept of "the less obvious choice" as propounded by our own basketball scientist.
In the East, "the less obvious choice" is like Jason Collins or some schitt.
Haha, Chuck Hayes was on some funny shit. What do you think it is that makes him do that? It's like he has a nervous tick when he gets to the FT line or something...
(That's from another game)
Nuggets should have won it in the 4th quarter, but that was a hell of a double OT game. Martin pulled the hammy, but Atkins played his first game with the Nuggets and looked pretty good, hit a big shot and some threes, and you can already see his ability to stay open and penetrate the lane and collapse the defense. He should be a solid 3rd option, I'm happy to have him.
And this is especially for yuichi regarding the *yawn* oh so boring one trick ponies that are AI and Melo:
Allen Iverson: 36 points, 9 assists, 5 rebounds, 2 steals
Al Harrington should probably start the All star game though...
I will say that the Lakers really should have had one more chance to win that game. I agree with Reggie Miller, that last foul on Fisher should have been on Gibson or just been a no call. Fisher had that rebound and Gibson ran into him. Doo doo. Oh well, any West loss is good for my team.

Good for you.
Done yet?
Let's try to keep our bitter feelings inside this thread OK? Try not to let it diffuse into other threads. that's really all i ask. is this too much?

I can dig that.
If Nash gets the vote @ PG:
AI
CP3
D. Williams
Parker
B. Diddy
Bibby
Arguably Kevin Martin
East if Kidd gets the vote:
Billups
Hinrich
Starbury
Andre Miller (personal bias, would never happen though)
Bibby and Steph in 2007???

Saying though, I'm just agreeing with Rockaedlic in that there really aren't many choices at PG in the East this year.
edit: yeah, Bibby has no chance.
Even with Nash?? We all know how you feel about Nash... Are you just cosigning for the sake of cosigning?
