    Early reports indicate casualties in the 40-50 range. Several lost limbs, but no confirmed deaths yet.

    Just heard my brother and his wife were at the Marathon, last seen very close to the finish line. And I haven't heard from them yet. Fingers crossed.

    I still haven't heard back from either of them, but I'm told cell service has been completely shut down in the region. Just getting scattered eyewitness reports now. The word from Mass General is at least 10 admitted for traumatic amputations, conflicting reports on the number of dead. To quote a man working the medical tent at the finish line "It's as bad as you could imagine it to be."

    Third explosion occurred at the John F. Kennedy library. Multiple additional explosive devices found, with some unconfirmed reports having them spread throughout the city. Still waiting to hear from my folks.

    Thanks, D*****, I just finally got a text saying they're OK. They were at the exact spot of the first explosion about two hours before it happened, but were out of the area by the time it did.

    Now that I'm not flooded with worry, I'm starting to get very, very angry.
