It's beginning to look like it might be a Dallas/Miami Final rematch. I think this is more "the Lakers have no bench" than "the Mavs are that good" kind of series.
Zach has transformed himself. For many years he was a black hole on offense. He put up big numbers but was not a factor in wins. Now he's finally figured out that it's a team game.
when he moved to NY Z-bo had what I consider to be one of the funniest introductory press conferences I have ever seen. After spending every waking hour carousing in Portland's numerous strip clubs, he told the world with a straight face that he was going to bed at 9:30 every night now that he was in New York. You know you are in trouble if a grown man says something like that. I wish I could find the video. It's quite the watch.
My hatt is the NBA and fans anointing them too fast.
College atmosphere bullcrap.
You can't blame the fans....they're in OKC not NYC...they have NOTHING in the way of professional sports besides the Thunder....last year they took the World Champs to 7 games and played them better than anyone else in the Playoffs.
I still think they will win this series...and as a Mav's fan I'd much rather face the Grizzlies.
lakers are getting serrved!!!!
terry is bombing shit!
broooooooooom
The talk that will dominate most playoff coverage now that LA is done will probably be, "What happens to the Lakers once Phil makes his retirement official?!"
I never liked Odom or Bynum, but I always rooted for Artest. It was hard to root for him when he went to LA, but when he won the title I saw again why he's one of my favorite players. But once was enough for Ron-Ron.
Nothing much needs to be said about the classlessness which the Lakers exhibited. When you done went out and married the fat fucking Kardashian, shit can't get much lower anyway. Bynum pulling off his jersey was John Cena-esque. Maybe we'll get lucky and the fans will just burn that city down after this.
From watching the Portland series I noticed that Dallas seems very poised this year in the playoffs, especially Jason Kidd and Jason Terry. Both Portland and LA struggle with small fast guards like JET and JJ Barrea. I would be curious to see how those two fared against a team like Oklahoma that matches up better with them.
There is gonna be gossip and stories about what went down behind the scenes amongst the Lakers in that final series. They didn't even play like a team in game four. Phil Jackson had a look on his face like he was grateful to be done with that group.

overlooking the Bulls and Celtics already?
Of course none of this has to do w/ the Mavs doing well.

The Thunder collapsed in the first game.
Let's Go for the Sweep, Dirk!
There's something unlikeable about that team....starting with Russell "I drive to the rack recklessly" Westbrook. Go Grizzlies!

Westbrook is gonna have to work on his perimeter/jump shot game. Dude thinks he's Rose.
They need a third scorer after you stop the drive and cover Durant.

(If we beat the Lakers)
College Atmosphere Awesomeness!!!
If batmon don't like it, then it must be alright.
But I undertstand the small city shit.
I believe they've done that in Miami as well, which is in no way a small city.
Dallas > Oklahoma City > Indianapolis
The White Heat T-Shirt steez looks cool but the idea is fucking corny small or large town.
Yeah and we didnt wear all gold in the playoffs.
Dallas was wearin some blue but OKC has that robot shit on lock.
That would be a big investment to use for just 2 games.
You really dont wanna play franchise vs franchise do you?
terry is bombing shit!

Mel Daniels > Any Maverick Center Ever
