Just went with a friend the other day to get one, all they had was the ART phono pre, it was listed at $50, works fine. -

I never understood the appeal of the Ocean break. No matter how wide of a tape you record it onto, that shit will always be weak. Even if the tubes in that $4K preamp are lighting your entire block.
