Some not yet mentioned (I don't think): 3rd Rail, Trilark, Delegation S/T, Mtume 'Juicy Fruit', while we're talking Heatwave definitely check out 'Current'.

I haven't been playing out much lately but these are some of my go to's when I do, depending on what kind of night it is: Brief Encounter - Human Sharon Revoal - Reaching For Our Star Dee Edwards - Why Can't There Be Love Risse - Give It…

$14 (the demand for this sort of record seems to have thinned out lately)
-
Exactly what kind of trouble have you gotten yourself mixed up in?

Hey man, thanks for these downloads. That's awesome, I didn't know if anyone would have these Sass 45s. The only other 45 I can recall seeing on INS was a rock 45 called Road Hog.
-
Hey Rich, you're in luck. That's the side that 20th Century released as well. Craig Moerer has a copy listed for $25 or with a little bit of hunting around you can probably get it for less. The one I want to hear again is called Birds Of A Feather, …

Rock, I haven't seen any of the Sass 45s on INS for years. I think they had 2 or 3 on that label. I believe it's the same group that had a common (and excellent) 45 on 20th Century. I've had an RSS feed for at least a year and none of them have turn…

I like that record a lot too. If it didn't have such a crap cover then I think it would be well known and heavily sought after by this point.
-
Condition is not everything. It's one of many factors that come into play. The three most expensive records I ever sold were all VG or worse.
-
Whatever you do don't use the kind of glue that the Arock label was using back in the day.
-
I'd use a glue stick. Less messy and it works fine.
-
Here's a great one, that unfortunately is also very, very expensive.

Reviving this thread for a moment, I just put up a mix along these lines on my blog: http://soulpersuasion.blogspot.com/2011/04/it-was-always-there-i-just-didnt-know.html tracklist: Ray Agee - Tin Pan Alley (Shirley) Little Willie John…

Montgomery Express and 24 Karat Black are awesome of course but what I really want to learn about is late 50s-mid 60s. Here's a couple more. Keep them coming, I've already added a couple things to my wants list based on some of your suggestions. …

I knew Bassie would come correct. Here's a couple more.

Some stuff like this is of keen interest as well I have no idea why I sold off my copy of that Reuben Bell. Dumb moves-related.

"i try to get rare song of Boz scaggs"
-
Super-bummed to hear this. I don't think Broadcast ever made a bad song and they did many, many great ones.
-
Cool, I'll probably get one if someone vouches for it. Need to buy a new portable before ARC-related.
-
I've always been curious about Dorsey's Locker on Shattuck. It looks hard as fuck from the outside at least.
-
I've seen at least a couple posts like this on here for the last year or so. Anyone actually buy one yet and does it compare remotely to the real deal?
-
Wow, I've had this issue for a couple days but somehow didn't see that spread. Congrats Anthony, that's a hell of a domicile.

I don't know if it's true across the board but for the most part the Oakland police don't respond to the kinds of crimes the chief is talking about as it is, layoffs or not. Of course threatening to make it official policy is a transparent negotiati…

I think I bought more records at Princeton the one time I went there than at any record shop I've been to on the west coast (more than a few). Maybe I'm just not that picky but it was very fruitful for me that day. Maybe I just got lucky.

Damnit guys, I'm trying to save money now and you're making my wantlist grow! Great thread, I need that Maximum Joy and Lizzy Mercier Descloux for sure. Don't have much to contribute, though I did recently stumble on Varve "Bamboo Curtain" recentl…
