I never even heard of this record until this thread and then found one in a local shop for $2 last weekend. BUT it had the wrong record inside. Still smarting from that near miss.
-
I definitely prefer goo gone to lighter fluid. The Ronsons just seems too toxic to be using indoors. If you apply the goo gone with a cue tip it cuts down on the messiness.

There's the New World "We're Gonna Make It" 45. Balleur-related
-
I actually didn't have any issues with the sound quality on the Timmion LP. I don't remember hearing any pops.
-
Found a bunch of nice stuff this weekend. Here are two highlights. The first one is not for sale, the second is (and needs a price czech) - That Mizz Mean just sold for a shit ton of money a week or so ago. I think $800+. Who knows if that's …

Here's their email if anyone feels like dropping them a line: info@thevalleyclub.com

Who is it and what's the film?
-
These Dudes. One of the best records ever. (That's the two main members of the group I assume, first time I've ever come across a photo of them).
-
That's crazy, I had no idea the sponsor was Steve Earle.
-
Before you all get too carried away remember these are just random rumours. I'm in the Berkeley store all the time and if they are planning to close there's no buzz on the floor about it at all.
-
I don't know but that Los Felinos record sucks.
-
I've never run into any problems like that, and I've done quite a few. Always good to try to feel people out on the phone and skip the ones you get a bad vibe from.
-
You should come and visit for at least a week before deciding to move here. Also, save up a shit ton of money in case you can't find a job for a few months.
-
Myself and at least two other people have been trying to find Don Scott for a while (I wasn't the one who posted on Craigslist). It's a really good modern soul 45 that Breadwinner found last year. There's a soundclip on soulsource if anyone is curio…

Maybe your friend had it confused with Modesto.
-
It's not worth anything, maybe $8.
-
Cause you can't serve alcohol after 2. Simple as that. Wish I could have made it out to this.
-
US Canada Globe Trekker motherfuckers.
-
I wouldn't wipe my ass with carpet. And I wouldn't want it on my floors either.
-
The 45 version of Woman Don't Want To Love Me is pretty great too, different version than the LP. It's on Epic.
-
What about a Disco Cafe? Any objections??? That chair dance was kind of dope. Kelly was shook.

Maybe

C-Brand and Glass LP have been obtained. Still looking for the others, or anything else along similar lines; I am open to suggestions.
-
I'm digging the mix... You got a tracklist? The tracklist is in between the two gents (kidnapped from the Cojo picture sleeve btw).
-
I wonder if the two bidders were actually the same person. Totally idiotic move on their part but it would explain how he "knew" the auction would have a problem.
-
I shudder to think how many times I've probably seen that record and not given it a second glance.
-
Also, 1986 sounds way late in the game for that to be the first or second Richmond rap record. It's not something I'm actively interested in but there must have been some stuff before that?
-
I recently found my second copy of that Disco Alamo 12". The first one I gave away for basically nothing to the guy whose popsike listing you linked to. Live and learn. I have a seven inch by another early Bay Area rapper, whose name is eluding me. …

I am going to do $14 for 1st class (plus $3/ea additional). Express is $37. When I factor in the cost of the mailer and pads I'll be lucky to break even with these prices but I don't want to have to charge more than that.
