The Cs still almost pulled it out. I thought the emphatic Noah steal/finish b/w Pierce dumb foulout woulda sealed it. Game 7 is the only way to do this. I want 5 overtimes.

    Yeah Bulls!!!!

    Nah, Bulls.

    THIS IS EDDIE'S HOUSE!

Great, classic series. Bulls have better days ahead.

Celts have a huge challenge ahead, round two starts less than
48 hours after game 7, and there will still be no KG. No matter
what, this series will be remembered as legendary, even as a 1st round.

    Not researched, uneducated guesses:

Los Angeles Lakers > Utah Jazz - in FIVE DEAD ON[/b]

Portland Trailblazers > Houston Rockets - in 6 DEAD WRONG[/b]

Denver Nuggets > New Orleans Hornets - FIVE DEAD ON[/b]

SAN ANTONIO SPURS > Dallas Mavericks - in SEVEN DEAD WRONG[/b]

Cleveland Cavaliers > Detroit Pistons - SWEEP DEAD ON[/b]

ATLANTA HAWKS > Miami Heat - in 6

Boston Celtics > Chicago Bulls - in FIVE SEVEN[/b]

Orlando Magic > Philadelphia 76ers - in FIVE

LA/Cleveland or LA/Orlando looks pretty certain now.

    Dallas > Denver

This is the only potential second-round matchup where an upset is possible. Or Denver might destroy them like they did with NO.

y'all are writing off the C's pretty quickly.

They haven't looked very strong so far, and no KG
makes them a far inferior team to last year's squad,
but Orlando isn't scaring anybody either, IMO.

Home court is the Celtics ace in the sleeve, let's see
if they can play it and make the Conf. Finals.

judging by the game (only one obviously)

they are deep and george karl is managing the 9 man rotation very well

if the bench players keep this up it will be hard for dallas to match

this year denver plays defense..the same cannot be said of dallas

however this series is far from being lobsided

    I agree with this 100%.

I think the Magic will win... but, I don't think they're as tough as the Bulls. I could see the Celtics winning this series, and it could go even less than 7 games.

    Lakers > Houston - yawn - agree

Dallas > Denver - no wai! Denver will smack them up good.

Cleveland > ATL - that's gonna be some shit!!!! agree

Orlando > Boston - disagree. orlando is just not a good team. (neither were the 76ers) the c's are beat up, but can easily put this one away in 5 or 6.

Denver looks strong. The MAvs seemingly stopped playing. Gonna have to dig deep in this series. Denver might could fusk w/ LA even.

But then there is this sort-of ever-present feeling with Denver that it could all come unglued real easily. They seem to be built on a lot of borderline personalities over there. It's all flowing in the same direction right now though.

Orlando is a flawed team that will not make it to the championship. You should see how many times they miss passing the ball to Howard when he's wide open and calling for it.

DENVER IS BEYOND GREATER THAN DALLAS

    IT'S DONE IN 5

  • batmonbatmon 27,574 Posts
After the last game against Philly, critics and insiders were sayin the Magic is actually better w/out Howard.

The Celtics have NO answer for Howard at all.

At least Dalembert was down low for Philly to give Howard some sort of opposition. Dude was frustrated enuff to throw an elbow.

Rondo/Jesus/The Truth have better bring that shit Again.

After all this time, I still can all of a sudden put all my money on Denver. Melo still has yet to show me he is that leader. They gelled at the right time, but I'm still a non-believer, no matter how many points they put up.

Maybe I'm missing something, but in head-to-head matchups with Cleveland, they're 2-1. Anybody see these games?
