But do trade rumors really make players stop caring about the game? I would expect that if you were on the trade block, you'd be playing your ass off to show your worth and get the best deal wherever you end up. Slacking off and letting your team lose games is surely no way to make a positive impression.

There's definitely a serious lack of motivation there. I think they can force their offense in the paint, they just don't. Thomas can get down, Noah should be able to get in there, Wallace can get those offensive boards. They have the talent, that's why I wonder if it's the coaching that's keeping them from rounding out their offense. If the shot isn't falling, they need to take a different approach. They haven't been.

This is poor analysis. Can you really question the heart and work ethic of say a Ben Gordon, Luol Deng, or Kirk Heinrich? Those are pros you're talking about.

What are you talking about? Have you even watched them play lately?? Doesn't sound like it.

    Allow me to quote myself:

My Chicago Bulls are easily the worst team in the league.

I sat throught the whole game tonight and haven't seen a more pathetic, lost display since the Utah Jazz in Game 3 of the 1998 NBA Finals. Skiles benched the starting 7 for all but 5 minutes of the second half. Kobe will not even WANT to come here when the Feb. trade deadline rolls around. Not when the Bulls will own the worst record in the league and with Deng and Gordon leaving anyway.

They should all just give up. Seriously. Tank the season right now for a shot at the lottery. Anyone doubting me has not seen the Bulls play this year.

Okay, they need to get Jon Barry's corny ass off ESPN broadcasts.

"Scola is getting a SCHOLASHIP TO THE BENCH."

"He just took him to SCOLA! hahaha." (silence)

"cash in your chips! YAOZA!" (this last one makes no sense)

The Bulls over achieved last year against an East Coast transution phase.
Riley did what he had to do by swoopin in during Van Gundy's rebuilding and got a ring against a wet behind the ears Dallas team. Riley got in bed w/ the devil for that one run to the ring, and its a wrap.Nobody was seein them in the Finals that year anyways. Fuck em, Now. They were fuckin old when they went and didnt have the space to add any players to that team because he aquired Shaq,Wade,Walker, and Payton. Next.

Im feelin Avery Johnsons new 10 man rotation. Howard is on some MVP shit(too early).

Good thing throwbacks are played out!! No one's rockin' 'em out in Cali anymore, which means I will look fresh! There's like 50 jerseys I need.

Maybe Utah? I kinda did a google image search. I love the Phoenix? jersey with little Chili theme going.

Aiite, I need to finish watching this Laker game.

The Houston/Dallas game was a goodie.

The Lakers on the other hand, think they can turn it on anytime and steal the game.

What up YAO? You want some of #34?

That division is brutal. Another exciting game.

Yea it is. The West seems even more brutal this year with Houston, New Orleans, and so far the Nuggets in the mix.

Mav's are playing too much "catch up"....17 tonight.....24 yesterday.....you can't keep that up for an extended period of time.

Devin is finally looking like a #5 pick.

Your boy Brandon Bass outscored T-Mac!!

I know some playgrounds where that would have been two Free Throws and a pipe to Barnes kneecap.

Brandon Bass reminded me of Elton Brand. He should mold his game to Brand's. I like that kid. He's patient and decisive with the rock.

You probably don't know this but his mom has cancer and he's missing the current road trip to be with her.

As most sons or daughters would probably do.

Just a little message to you & the Lakers from me & the C's:

yo, but Kobe got his 28, right?

    Hey SoulonLice,

Ain't you that dude that Batmon shut up by referring to you as "quiet as a churchmouse" before you jumped on the Celtics bandwagon?

  • SoulOnIceSoulOnIce 13,027 Posts
    jumped on the Celtics bandwagon?

hahaha what the fuck. he gave me shit for suddenly posting
when the Celts were winning, after avoiding NBA threads when
they sucked - which isn't really true, I even posted during the
team record losing streak last season, but he's right, Celtics
fans haven't had much to mouth off about for a minute.

Whatever, dude - if you wanna take Dragonball Z/House of Pain
videos as anything more than Celtics/Lakers ballbusting, I can't
help you out. But save that bandwagon talk for someone else.

... and even I will admit that Celtics fans tonight
wearing brand-new "BEAT LA" T-shirts was nothing but straight-up

I gotta say...my earlier crack on Granger wasn't warranted, since paying closer attention to his current production in Indy. Still not sure if he's worthy of an All-Star appearance, but the kid is indeed holding his own.

He's just emerging this season. I just voted for him so he can get some recognition. Voting is based on late last year w/ this year. He got rushed into the second option from the fourth option after the big GSW trade.
O'Brain has made him the focal point of the offense and he handling it well. Dude came into the L w/ out all the crazy hype and has kept pace w/ the expectations.
Like I said - the All Star game is "who u like" and I threw him a bone out of loyalty. There are dudes who are ahead of him in the pecking order of East forwards.
