In other news, the Nuggets show up in Toronto and decide NOT TO PLAY.
They started the game 0-15, ended the first quarter at something ugly like 15-36 and they just never got over it. Worst Nuggets game I've ever watched. I actually didn't watch past the half. That shit was embarrassing.
I tend to be a little hard on Z-Bo....but I feel that he just doesn???t fit into the long term plans of this team. Look how well we are playing without him (3-0!). Look at how well Aldridge is playing by Randolph not being in the line up. The black hole is gone......shots are opening up and plays can actually develop instead of ending when Zach throws up some dumb shit (although his dumb shit does get results sometimes).
I wont even touch the whole "I can't play on this road trip because I need to be in Indiana to mourn the death of a friend.....but somehow I've ended up in Las Vegas and Portland going to strip clubs (and not paying the bill).....but I still cant make this road trip."

The Clippers are on a 4 game winstreak and have now pulled a full game ahead of the Warriors for the 8th playoff spot. Next game for the Warriors is vs. the Lakers on the road, where we have the 2nd worst record in the NBA right now, plus Kobe's dropping 50 on people like it ain't no thing. It'll be a fight but we need this win to stay in contention.
We got slaughtered on the boards by something like 30 and blew a big lead. The worse part is that it now puts us 1 1/2 games behind the Clippers with the Spurs and I believe Suns coming up next. Ouch.

He is not projected to be a top-three pick so he seemingly could fall into the range that the Suns will pick, as long as the Atlanta pick is conveyed to them by not falling in the top three.
Suns personnel can't comment on Yi but an Eastern Conference executive recently told me that Yi would be an ideal fit for Phoenix's style of play because his team is a run-and-gun type too. He obviously is not at the level of Dirk Nowitzki but that is the type of player that Yi projects to be at optimum.
Or you could go with this scouting report from Yao Ming in the Houston Chronicle: "He is very close to a player who is in the NBA. I would say Amare Stoudemire."

His team, Guangdong, is currently down 3-1 to Bayi in the Chinese Basketball Association finals, which is being aired live on NBATV. Guangdong has won three straight national titles.

Play positional defense, use your body (not your arms) to get rebounds, and don't force anything that isn't there. I'll take 13 points and 10 rebounds a night from my 55 percent shooting power forward any day. (Buck's career numbers) And in the height of Blazermania, Buck led the NBA in shooting percentage two years running: 60.2 percent (1991) 60.4 percent (1992).
