OKC needs to stop turning the ball over! Their last game against the Warriors I think they racked up 23. Hardly any were forced either which made it worse.

As entertaining as they are, i dont think they are going to win it all with a Scoring Point that deosnt get others besides Durant involved.
Westbrrok had 30 and 5 assists last night. Paul had 26 and 14. This dude is not going to win a chip with that mentality.
Isaiah Thomas could score at will be still got his the role players involved.
Iverson got to the finals and saw Shaq and Kobe. His support team didnt score.
They also have no consistant low post presence. Perkins is just a defensive dude. Ibaka doesnt get no love.
I dont believe the hype.
The Clippers have a very good mix of outh and vets. Billups in that lockeroom is crazy valuable.
The Wizards, The Hornets and The Bobcats need to dissolve.
I watched at Staples last week as the Lakers fell to the Pacers.
Batmon, your team finally looks legit! Don't know if they could get over the Bulls/Heat
in the playoffs, but they def got a fighting chance that's for sure. Dude Hibbert is not a superstar center,
but the dude is SOLID.
You know, I like to consider myself a Pacers fan... I was born in Indy, my parents used to go to Pacers games back in the ABA days, Reggie Miller is one of my favorite players of all time, and I even have a Pacers hat. However, thanks to the retarded way games are scheduled for national broadcast I haven't even seen the Pacers play at all this year, despite them actually being decent. All I ever run across are games with the Heat, Lakers, Clippers, Celtics, Bulls, Mavericks, Spurs, or...god, even the dreadful Knicks. It's like, really, some of us would like to see some other teams once in a while. It's a large part of why I don't even really bother watching the NBA until the playoffs start because I can't even follow half the teams during the regular season other than to look at box scores.
The only way I can even catch a Pacers game for the most part is if they happen to be playing the Cavs and the game is carried on Fox Sports Ohio, which my cable company gets, or they play the Bulls and the game happens to be on WGN. Aside from that...no chance. ESPN is too busy showing only the handful of teams I mentioned, and then other winners such as Utah/Phoenix.
Regarding why Rose was upset last month after losing to the Pacers -- dude said it in his own calm, quiet way that he felt the Pacers celebrated a little too much after winning a regular season game, and the fact that it was the Bulls' first loss cut deep for them. I like that. They weren't making a big deal about, just marking the feeling for next time. Same thing happened last night -- Brandon Jennings had torched the Bulls a little bit during their last game and Rose came out swinging in the rematch -- scoring like 13 of 16 of Chicago's points early, including three of three from beyond the arc, in what ended up being a nearly wire-to-wire route.
The Bulls almost swept the Central Division last year in the regular season, before (I think) losing the last game against the Pacers and then losing once again in the playoffs. This year, seems a little bit more competitive, what with the Pacers clearly making some headway, Cleveland's arrow pointing up and Milwaukee seemingly on a somewhat decent plateau. As far as the Pistons...
Tuff_Gong, sounds like you need a one-way ticket to League Pass city. If your team is small market and you're outside of that small market, not much other choice if you want to catch some games.
happy for him. i think he needed to fail first (at GS) before he could really breakout. i think there was a lot of pressure on him. dude's got skills, as evident by that game and every time he was sent down to the D-league. hopefully he'll remain a consistent option for NY.

Was he ever given any extended time to fail? It seems like dude wasnt given the same length of rope that other kids are given in the L.
Dude has found the D'Antonis open offense to fit his talent.
The next level will be stupid ass demanding NY fans expecting him to be Chris Paul.

Fuck Baron Davis.
i like Lin solely because it's novel that an asian harvard grad is getting burn, but looking at his highlights alone, i don't see him being a consistent scorer in the nba. he can get to the basket when covered one-on-one (or left alone), like every other guard in the nba. i'll give it to him that he can finish well in traffic. i predict no more 20 point games for the rest of the season.

I agree.
Hell get figured out when dudes check the video tape.
No way he gets more than 15ppg with Melo and STAT needing the ball.
They are the anti-Heat and last night the anti-Lakers. Well coached, but not very talented. Also unpredictable in terms of post season. I could see them making it to the Eastern Conference finals and losing to Miami, or just as easily losing in the first round of the playoffs.
not sure where you came up with that, case.
they are an unbelievably young squad...i think talent abounds. experience and the consistency that comes with it will hopefully follow in the coming years. truth about anti-lakers...last night was such a contrast of team ball w/deep roster vs. superstar w/no squad. i feel like the sixers are 1-2 small non superstar pieces away from being able to beat anyone, heat included. as it is, heat seems to be one of the few to give us matchup problems, but they give everyone problems.

ha, i meant not very talented in comparison to teams with nba superstars. guys like jrue holiday and lou williams are incredibly talented, they are just not at the level of wade, kobe, 'bron...or even a deron williams - as he demonstrated when he torched both of them a few weeks ago.
i like this 76ers team a lot, but disagree that they are a championship team with the addition of 1-2 non superstar players. imo, a lot of the stars and less hungry teams don't turn it on until the playoffs. that's why i think it's hard to judge the sixers' prospects. even giving them the benefit of the doubt, they have no shot of making it to the finals. Heat will roll on them and so will the Bulls (despite what happened last week).
Collins is coach of the year though, clearly. Love that guy.
youre completely right about the playoffs, but dont forget the ers gave the heat a series last year. we match up well against the bulls. i wouldnt mind getting them in a series. the 'need for a star/closer' has been the big debate the the last month in town and its definitely intriguing. i personally think with the right matchups, it doesnt hold water. one shut down defender can often diminish the luster of top scorers, so then what are those teams left with?
the Heat is in a class by itself though and are obviously gonna be top shelf for a couple years. philly has ten contributors already...hypothetically, they make a couple succedful minor moves that give them more length and maybe another 3pt sniper, our younguns keep improving and i think we can take down anyone. we arent there yet, but its hardly implausible. all we need with the Heat is matchup tinkering. they are not squad deep, despite the big 3 being overwhelming
They have the perimeter threats down. Brand, Hawed, Vouyawhatevr, and Thad arent enuff.
yup. more length to guard the chris boshes of the world, block some shots and bring low post presence. either at pf or center.brand probably/hopefully gone next year (amnestied last year on contract). perimeter is still not quite set in stone with meeks as the specialist, but we got some guys who venture out there for sure
I'm not sold on Lin. What he does well is play some D, and he's a decent, but not great point guard. In high school and at Harvard he was a 2-guard. I think the Knicks system obviously helps him out a lot. I doubt he scores that many points in the rest of the season. At the same time you have to root for him. One of the Warriors owners pushed to pick him up as a fre agent last year. He got cut because the Warriors tried to get DeAndre Jordan from the Clippers unsuccessfully. I'm glad he found a new home and got some PR.
Happy for Jeremy Lin. Dude is like the Harvard grad NBA minority version of Rafer Alston. Hope he gets some more minutes. What he lacks in explosiveness, he makes up for in great team ball and fundamentals. Something really rare to see in the NBA these days, and the fans understand that......
Am I the only one that thinks Carmelo out is a good thing? Ball's moving a lot better it seems..........

He just mad cause Indiana won. The rivalry is back on and they know shit is real. Bitch moves like what.
Chicago still is lacking inside presense and still rely on Rose to go superhero. Shut him down and no one shows up.
Deng was injured.

The hold-out and short training camp means a bunch of these older guys were out of shape.
Some that felt they might not play at all this year could be in even worse shape (I'm lookin' at you Lamar Odom)
Some of the younger more athletic guys are having great starts.
By the time the post-season arrives any veteran team with no/few injuries will be the team(s) to beat.
