Most of my good/playable records are on my floor or in crates on the floor. The shelves are where my records go to die. DJ Ferrari It's true. I haven't pulled a record from the shelves in a year or more. Anything on the ttable comes from the fl…

I paint and make films, but maybe this helps. When I don't feel creative, I don't force it, just go about my daily. Read books, watch movies, listen to music and as new ideas come up, just write them down (this process may take a month or more). …

1. Blows up all over cnn and shit for butchering 2 classic records into some abhorantly gimmicky "mashup". Formally opens the doors for linkin park to do the same thing with their terd emo-core and get grammy's in the process. 2. Recruited to prod…

and there's a little Dali museum in Montmartre somewhere also. Only time I was in Paris, I walked up to the front door of the Louvre only to discover it is closed on Tuesdays. WTF? I was leaving early Wednesday, so Plan B was getting over to the D…

Anyone going? A couple of my friends and I are making the trip down. We have a friend with a newborn down in Palm Springs so it's a good excuse to go. Sweet lineup for Sunday. I'm stoked to see Dungen and Gilles Peterson. I'll be around all weekend …

Scratch = way ahead of his time I agree with Katz that if there is only one "genius" to come from Jamaican music, it would be Scratch. Of course, we dont have to choose just one.

Deep tissue massage, myofascial release. It will help big time. Also ice the area.

Thanks Shig! I'll never worry about that again. That was easy. But, have you ever been in a car wreck on a mountain pass and had a ski pole go through the windshield and right into your eyeball? That scares me too.

Fear - falling on the stairs while running up them. During the fall, not having time to put my hands down and landing teeth first with massive dental damage. Ouch.

Jason Giambi in the HOF?

This is a pet peeve of mine. Take the stickers off of your records. Aesthetically displeasing.

Such a great record and dope insert of Muddy getting his Conk on. I do love early sides as well, but Electric Mud has always been one of my favorite records.

By torture? No.

What happens when an innocent person is tortured by the state because they were falsely convicted? What do you say to the family? "Unfortunately, there are speedbumps on the road to justice." "If you don't like it you can move" "Its for the kids!"

Suit and tie everyday. Never bother with Casual Fridays, which we have. I want to have my head in the game when I'm at work. Also, I run client meetings on Fridays, and it's good to keep my work image consistant. It is part of my office persona.

When she gets drunk she sings "rock lobster" continously (guitar riffs and all). Please post mp3.

BDP are under consideration to replace DP this sounds like a no brainer. for the subject of this thread, to have DP ahead of BDP is the definition of Perhaps in the production qualification. As far as the "radical politics" go, and if we're tryi…

Do you feel the same way about roots reggae? I have a theory that many Americans--and I'm not directing this at you--have no problem listening to a million reggae songs that big up "Jah Jah" and Selassie because 1) they don't name drop Jesus specifi…

No idea. Painting a Studio 1 mural in my record room with Symon, then I don't know what. K. Pics please.

SweetPea played for the Spurs under John Lucas, when they were running the all-rehab team. Sometime flashes of brilliance, followed by a bunch of lazy sloppy play. His passing could be amazing, though.

I'm bummed out that I missed this! SOLD OUT? Any chance of a second press? Mp3 copy? As much as I'd like to do another batch I don't think I can handle it. It was a TON of work. I'd be happy to either post the mix, or send you a coverless CD of …

That being said, I'd still love to hear this. Step up your game! Email the winning bidder and tell him your uncle was in The Joint for murder (but it was really self defense) and turned his life around after doing a 15 year bid. This was his pris…

Boom early digital thing. I'm getting into this stuff now. Love the early digi. Would scoop by the hundreds if there was any around my spot. I may have to hit up a private dealer I haven't talked to in years. Watch out K, soon you'll be in…

I can output it to mp3 and send it to you if you want to hear what it sounds like. Please do. Thanks!

"A White Man's Burden is a Black Man's Hell" by Louis X (better known as Louis Farrakhan) He had a moderately successful calpyso career in the 1950s and this 45 was put out by the Nation of Islam as a politically motivated song. I'd like to hear. …
