Thanks for the heads up. I always liked this sort of thing where the episodes are only loosely connected . The second one wasn't too imaginative, but still very poignant. The third one I liked best. Is this the dude who writes for Peep Show? Night a…

ehh, this thread is a mess. But at least it's interesting, unlike most of the recent threads that got posted. I bought the louis ck thing, cause i liked the idea. It was better than the actual standup, though i am a fan of his. I hav…

Spending that Megaupload money must feel extra special.

One of my favorite songs on the album. I notice you tweaked the horn at the end a little--cool.

Anticon jokes aside, the first one was cool, the others not so much.

Rerog said: Anticon? weirdo hip hop influenced rap stuff. I can picture Rock jamming out to some of pedestrian's work. But is that more rap influenced hip hop?

That's a nice little joint that I got hipped to right here on SS, in one of those "cheap records you may have overlooked" threads. His other album is tepid at best.

Like I told you, this is some excellent shit. Adventurous, technically very impressive and still banging. I'd buy this in a heartbeat.

Much improved compared to the first mix..

Yeah, I always liked his shit. He had some joints on the first Hiero LP too:

RIP to a good dude.

I think the sampled vocals and rap vocals are equal in the mix to the point that my ears don't know which to listen to. In other words, I'd definitely make the raps more prominent.
-
Hmm, there are versions of this with totally different songs - so FAKE?

To be fair, I'd probably rather listen to that video track than a lot of Anticon shit. Dance moves like that and a Levi Strauss reference? Gotta be a first.
-
I checked out the first cut... It's a little better than I expected it to be, but it still sounds like some shelved Anticon record from around 2000. I don't get the reverb, and that "Bambaataa had a grandfatha" verse made me cringe.
