I used http://www.hotwire.com on my road trip in june, worked very well. Got hipped to it by other road trippers. They usually got the lowest price of the big booking sites.

thanks for the answers. :real_headz:

Got these two on my last trip to the US a few weeks ago. Big Nike High Lunar fly (the most comfortable sneakers I've bought in forever)

Heard this new version of Spottie by Hypnotic Brass Ensemble yesterday and for a minute I thought it was the original version. Spottie - Heritage EP Exclusive Download by ChoiceCuts Anyway, it's bloody excellent

"Qing Wen" from this album, popular on shows like Gilles P/Worldwide a few years ago. Spiritual jazz.

Ayres link didn't work for me so I got from here: http://therub.crewcial.org/history/new/bob/

Definitely a good one but the new single "Georgia" that O-dub posted is even better. Menahan Street Band really did a good job with this one. I really hope that single does well this summer.

Love Dam-Funk but this one is not one of his better tracks. Has that Biggie "Going back to cali"-blend surfaced on the internet yet?

Nice one Cosmo!

A lot of rare records are not really as good as the records they try to "emulate" and when they are available everywhere some of the appeal is lost. On the other hand, I couldn't afford a lot of the rare records when I started out and I'm very happy…

Bumping this one last time before Raj shuts it down. Definitely gonna check out Charleston, any more suggestions?

Thanks for the replies! Fatback: I'll get back to you on PM. Any must-sees och must-eats?

Here's the full version of the RCA/Nite-Lites-Ne Birth performance, 58 min http://www.thirteen.org/soul/2009/04/14/november-1-1972-2/ What happened to this project? No updates in forever... I remember O-Dub writing about it

Soundcloud is probably the best one for stats but if you get lots of downloads you'll need a premium account (30 euros/year). http://soundcloud.com/tour/stats

IMHO, B-side wins again. Lots of good tunes 1. "Why" (Ball, Stuart, Gorrie) ??? 3:57 2. "High Flyin' Woman" (White, McIntyre, Gorrie) ??? 3:47 3. "Cloudy" (Stuart, Gorrie) ??? 4:18 4. "How Sweet Can You Get" (Ball, Stuart, Gorrie) ??…

Puma Urban Mobility series is nice, loads of differents sizes. Good quality, clean designs and keeps things dry.

I've been listening a lot to "A Refreshing Love" by Herman Kelly lately, dunno about a 12" release though. Great latin disco. Is it a well-known tune?

Somewhat serious, I'm retelling what I've been told. The Roots first real contract, wasn't that with an UK label, Talkin Loud and at that time they were somewhat popular in Europe (but largely unknown in the US). They got the contract with Geffen l…

In Europe he is relevant. Faux Rillz is not relevant to rap. Finally something I can cosign. Not that anyone of you care but I think for example A Tribe Called Quest and The Roots got their breakthrough in the Europe rather than in the U.S. Wit…
