Aparantly the base of the hoop is a lot closer in that arena than in the NBA, so he would've landed comfortably in a normal situation not so much now. Non-standard Stanchion placement. If that is why and how that happened that would be NOT cool.

That majorly sucks. considering it could have been prevented.

I was just telling my buddy, that this changes the East - big time.

With Lance and PG gone, the Pacers lose alot.

The media is gonna fuckin' really hype up the Cavs as having a faster ascent.

Toronto and Washington should be lickin' their chops right now.

Who else is weary about Derrick Rose's return?.......

Thank you, Yuichi, the Kobe Bryant of obviousness. Yes, everyone is well aware of the tenuous nature of a player's health, especially in the case of Rose who after playing 10 games over the past two seasons returned to competitive play in a game that saw another player have an extreme injury. I'm glad you were following along closely enough to pick up that storyline.

Chicago & Rose is the X-Factor of the East.

4th Place Last year - 3 and up this year w/ Rose?

    Miami drops outta 2. Indiana drops....from 1st.

Washington 5th....to 4 or 3rd?? They lost Ariza.

    Brooklyn 6th to OUT

Toronto - 3rd to 2nd? I'd expect Second round that year.

Charlotte Hornets - 7th to UP this year ......Sleeper team.

I dont know what the hell Atlanta -(8th last year) does. They have some nice youth.

    Cavs.........takes someones spot.

Ill be watching the Milwaukee Bucks go through some growing pains but improve.

Windhorst is reporting a done deal will be announced the 8/23.

But the most definitive statement has come out today by ESPNÔÇÖs Brian Windhorst. Windhorst told the Stephen A. Smith and Ryan Ruocco Show that the Kevin Love trade between the Cleveland Cavaliers and Minnesota Timberwolves is done but cannot be announced because of the 30-day restriction of Andrew Wiggins signing his contract. He said the teams have agreed to the deal, but they canÔÇÖt say it publicly because of the 30-day restriction. Windhorst still remarked that anything can happen between now and the end of the 30-day wait, but there is a handshake agreement between Cleveland and Minnesota.

Interview here, start at 9:30 mark.

Add S. Marion and the east is a wrap...

Watched the USA Basketball vs Brazil game last night. Derrick Rose makes this move from above the 3 point line all the way to the basket for a layup and the whole crowd ooh and awws. Guy took 3 freaking steps! I can get to the basket all the time too if they let me walk like that.
