Warriors just set a new franchise record with its 12th consecutive victory beating the Bulls tonight. Warriors are now 17-2 with the best record in the NBA.

What does matter is securing homecourt advantage for the playoffs and I think that's what's so crucial about this hot start for the Warriors. Obviously the team is going to cool off and will hit some rough spots but these early wins will help deal with any future losses and hopefully keep us in the top four when the post-season starts.

    Regular season does mean something.
For the Knicks it's all the ball they'll get to play.

Rarely do you see teams "turn it up" just for the playoffs. Maybe the Shaq/Kobe era Lakers...

SAS was playing beautiful all throughout the "don't mean schitt" regular season.

MIA a few years back was tearing opponents apart in the regular.

That the regular season is actually a decent indicator of playoff success? You know, you don't get a playoff spot unless you win in the regular, brah.

You wanna bet your money on the Lakers vs the Spurs if the playoffs started tomorrow? Maybe your thing is NCAAM if you want a dark horse/cinderella advancing and want all the hype associated with that.

Do yourself a favor, watch John Wall's post-game interview. Dedicated the game to 6-year old cancer patient that passed away.

^^^^ Didn't watch the video but went to the Bulls-Warriors game on Saturday and Chicago got lit up by Draymond Green, who made like seven 3's or something. They managed to contain Curry OK and the Bulter-Thompson duel was roughly a draw. Rose had a subpar game, and yet the Bulls were still in it until damn near the end. It was a fun contest to watch and if Draymond hits with you a career night, just take the lumps and walk away.

Sorry Rock but the Warriors just destroyed the Mavs in that first half 66-44.

Warriors sustained some great runs by Dallas and some pressure defense at the end to win the game. Warriors now 20-2 on a 15 game win streak!

Right now the Dubs are the best team in the league. Memphis will be a big test.

Motown, I'm gonna be at Oracle Areana on Jan. 2nd. Upper level seats. vacationing and need something to do related.

Scary thing is, I just don't see them slowing down any time soon. Offensively they have so many threats. Defensively, they play as a team too. They might end up like 68-14...

Memphis is coming up. If we don't have Bogut back by then that'll be a loss. Memphis just beats the shit out of the Warriors.

As predicted no Bogut and Warriors lose to Memphis.

On another note Sac fires head coach Malone. Talk about short sighted. Malone had that team going in the right direction. Cousins goes down and the team goes 2-7 so the coach gets sacked. What a crock.

    SAS just rolled through Portland.
Popp chose not to play a lot of people, Duncan and Parker for 2.

They lost, but they will be ready come the playoffs.

It's a long season. Teams that can afford to pace themselves may have an advantage over teams that went all out in the early going.

The new Sac owner is an idiot and wants quick results.
Malone probably isnt the coach for the long haul, but you need to slowly build a new culture. Now Ty Corbin is gonna get his ass fired down the line due to unrealistic expectations.
Mullin is smart for passing on the gig. Theyll axe him too when shit isnt turned around fast enough.

According to reports I just read Coach Malone didn't have the "proper" relationship with Sac's ownership and they were looking for a way to get rid of him for a while.
