Oh. I watched the Pens BLOW that game. That game winning goal looked eerily familiar. Fire Fleury.

My thread got the crickets during preseason haha.

    So glad its back.

Habs are gonna win the division. Love the team this year. Can't wait for Markov to be back. Lethal.

Datsyuk is still the best player in the league. Wings take the cup.

Datsyuk is still the best player in the league. [del]Wings[/del] Canucks take the cup.

Datsyuk's Gordie Howe hat-trick was bad-ass. Even more bad-ass is that he held his own against Corey Perry.

  • the leafs are 2-0. the city has already cordoned off the parade route.

i remain a canucks supporter surrounded by the most annoying fans in the L.

but hey, let's hear it for the boys.

Props to Datsyuk for holding his own against Perry! Perry's a dick but he's great for hockey pools, lots of goals and PIM.

I'm hoping Filatov unleashes this year. Leafs are actually looking decent this year! Kaberle looks reborn. Kessel is on fire. Wish Halak the best with the Blues (got him in my Pool too). Excited by all the rookies. Subban is truth even though I hate the Habs.

Toronto do look better but still lack serious depth. I'm hoping for another top 8 pick from them for the B's this season.

    Hi alie,

Yeah, Correy Perry is a real doink, but I'd want him on my team.
Halak is killing it right now. I think the Habs made a huge mistake in keeping Price and trading Halak. Oh well.
I wonder who will finish with a better year: PK Subban, or John Carlson...

    Habs made the right trade.
Plus we got Eller, and he is the real deal. Excited for him.

I think they have great depth on defense, but yeah, one injury to Kessel and goodbye offense.

as for us crushing loss everything was great until we imploded

you know whats better than beating the sens 3-0 in their own house
(right after beating them at home)

have more fans from our team cheer breakaways and then sing the hey goodbye song at the end of the match, priceless

Ottawa's building is always ours. Kinda pathetic.

Wow, Ilya Kovalchuk was a HEALTHY SCRATCH!

That's bad news for the Devils. If he becomes sour, I don't think a trade would be possible--they'd be stuck with him.

They never should have signed him in the first place. He doesn't fit their system, and he's a selfish player.

i know the kovalchuk thing has imploded at the beginning of the season!

  • subbans dipsy-doo'ing last night had him in the first star position for last night early, but then joey t WENT OFF on a 3 goal 2 assist night and snatched it from him.

canadiens = first in the east. montreal heads doin' thangs.

  • any love for the western conference on here? i mean any hockey fan knows that's where all the true talent in the nhl is...
got nothing but love for the habs though, pulling for them in the east this year...TO's a close second. fuck cindy and the pens

the west gets love for sure. you should have seen the chicago jock riding late last season. as stated, i rep the canuckleheads and after some goalie issues [?] we appear to be back on track. renee bourque seems to be riding one hell of a hot streak in calgary, and the wings continue to be a perennial powerhouse.

ive never been big on the wings but ive always had respect for them. how can detroit, as a city, be in the WESTERN conference? is there another team in any other league that loses and gain 3 hours between almost every single home and away game? season's gotta feel twice as long....

well, I'll give it to you so far ... Habs come into Boston tonight leading the B's for 1st place by 2 points ... and with 12 minutes left in the game leading them by 1 goal. we'll see. way too many Montreal fans in the Garden tonight for my liking.

    Habs looking tight.
    BUT.....Marky hurt again. So sad!
Price is still my boy, and now he's getting wins, too.
Not 1 goalie in the league i would trade him for.

    Scared of the Flyers, naturally.
