    Eddie U should know better - i am not sure how to classify this song but its not pure soul (there are some latin things going on in there as well) Not FUNK

    No Thing On Me - Soul (although he chants "sure is funky" a few times) - dude he's talmbout a funky situation not FUNKY music.

    Im cool w/ it being percived as a Funk album, yet the FUNK on the album doesnt dominant the SOUL. track for track.

    as a common denominator i'd call it it one of these for sure which at one time i found all the time in dollar bins. but it hasn't been that way for a while. then again i came of age in philly so if i were in tulsa or helsinki it'd be a different dollar bin. i suppose there's some jazzy crossing over here but whatever:

    come on now jazzsucka...find me a couple nice common finn/swedo joints and i'll get some copies out to you stat

    You know how it is T, you've been here plenty of times. No dollar bin scores in Finland these days. Even the stuff that is common costs you around 10e in your local boutique. If it's an Isaac Hayes or JB record it costs at least 20e. I know a shop which has 20+ copies of that Natural Four record all priced between 20-30e.

    What is this common finn/swedo joint you are speaking about? You won't find a Pohjola or Tolonen record for under 15e nowhere.
