The run-n-gun isn't dead. steve kerr killed a big part of it with a really, really retarded trade. FUCK STEVE KERR
and they should probably shitcan D'Antoni. dude can't make strategic adjustments in offensive or defensive sets to save his life. his game plans are static. it sucks that it had to come at the hands of the spurs, but it was inevitable since the front office in phx pulled the trigger in early feb. or so.
oh well.
it's already time to cheer for upsets.
go HAWKS, ROCKETS, WIZARDS, HORNETS, 76ERS.

Nash's choking muscle in full effect.
Paul > Parker > Nash > Kidd
Whatever 'shied, I love the fact that you turned into a Nash "choke" expert this year.
Naw, this year I overestimated Kevin Durant's scoring by 10 points...so I'm a loseur too.
But I love seeing Nash and Kidd (neither of whom are my favorite player of the past 15 years, Gary Payton) get sent home on the same night.

most of those 15 years, the glove was falling apart homie.
was awesome when he was young though. probably rivaled kg with career shit-talking on the court-- fun to watch.
As a die hard Sonics fan the Glove was not that great a defender. Van Exel, KJ even Frickin' Robert Pack routinely got in his ass. Gary probably got more out of his mediocre talent than any other player I've seen though. Dude had no hops, no handles and a shaky jumper but somehow willed his way to HOF career.

But still wound up with a better career assist-to-turnover ratio than Jason Kidd.
And got a ring to boot.
Payton > Nash + Kidd
the ring in 06? heh. that was on some "pay me the vets minimum so i can ride the pine while riding d-wade's back" type shit.
payton (and malone) were both awful in that regard in the twilight of their careers. i can't blame them for wanting the ring, but their intentions were so obvious.
Fuck Payton were talkin about this PLAYOFF SERIES TONIGHT.

Yes, all true. I remember for a while being disappointed in Payton for not being the defender he was so routinely hyped up to be. But he always made up for any of his shortcomings with some other something...be that an impossible fade-away bankshot or just the way he'd bark at someone from the opposing team.

i can agree with that. dude played out of his skull on occasion throughout the 1990s

Nor were their passes connecting.
APART AT THE SEAMS.
Apart at the seams? The game was more than close with so many PHX errors and a supposedly full strength Spurs.
Whatever dude, you haven't watched every PHX game for the last 2 years, so I'm going to write you off completely.
Yeah, I said it.
Now that the series is over, I can exhale.
B/W
SPURS > SUNS
DEAL!
Was that whole "bring Shaq in specifically to beat the Spurs" idea worth the one win it generated?

Still looking forward to a Lakers v. Celtics finals though. There, I said it.
You said what...that you have devoted far too much time to a running dud?
Apart at the seams is a quote from the end of the broadcast. So write off TNT completely...might as well.
i mean, for novelty value, yeah.
but i want to be entertained, so fuck all that noise.

Loved him when he was a Celtic, no matter how briefly.
I always felt he was a huge reason for their unlikely success that year.
