Hopefully an MLB thread is not too disconnected from our collective local urban sports experience. And like the NBA thread, our Canadian strutter brethren/sistren can also participate!Currently my squad is in last place in the NL West. But we got Zito now. And this man is on track: plaese to hatt on Bonds/Giants now.

    i doubt this thread will go apeshit like the nba thread but im down for some basbeball, hell i even bought a box of sunflower seeds at costco to get me in the mood.

    go giants! by far the best tandem of announcers in baseball!

    krukow, kuiper, jon miller, greg papa & dave fleming. thats an all star cast!

    yeah I just can't stay up on the stats. slow week at work so I got to peep some of the action, but there are definitely stretches during which I fall out of the loop.

    anyway if anyone's got some tix to tomorrow's or Saturday's game holler on the PMs.

    As much as dude makes me want to vomit... I'd be okay with him buying the Cubs cuz he actually cares about winning and will drop the dough to make it happen.

    i biked to at&t park last night, but mainly to take photos. my section 333 tix were $10. the giants should have fireworks after every game they lose. people were bummed and then all of a sudden the sky starting exploding to Van Halen and they forgot what happened

    My old apartment in Potrero Hill had the best view of the stadium fireworks. We had free shows all the time
