There has been an Austin Croshere sighting. 34 points? 7 3pts? WTF?!?!

GP....it was supposedly a "showcase"....Mav's are trying to land PJ Brown and Croshere is part of the deal that the Mav's want to offer....at least that is the local talk radio fodder......sounds logical to me.

Stupid trade. Gasol is not a franchise type player, although you could say he's close. A star player definately. Kobe is a superstar however.

If I'm the Lakers I do this trade in a NY second.....the key is the draft pick.....the consensus among hoops experts is that Oden is a can't miss big man that only comes around every 10-15 years and that he will be a Superstar.

I think a team 2-3 years from now of Miller, Gasol, Odom and Oden has a better shot and making a run for the title than anything they are going to be able to put around Kobe.

I've just read though that Oden is leaning towards staying in school.

    Don't believe the hype.

Would love to get PJ for Austin cos we've gotten little out of Croshere. Meanwhile PJ is a savvy vet, a good defender and rebounder, a good character guy and a good ol' Louisiana Tech alum to boot.

and w/o him they get beat up @ the world's most famous...

David lee really is the catalyst for that team man. They got some nice pieces for sure. I'm sure a good coach can take that team easily above 500.

Do you know who Eddie Curry is now?

    Eddie Curry is aiite.

Austin Croshere? Man, you guys love to discuss the most unremarkable players!

Talk about someone like Deron Williams or something.

That's retarded. You do realize LA is "playing some ball" compared to last year right?

no offense Batmon, cuz you're aiite. But WHO CARES?!

yall should really focus on some good players and good matchups for once.

Talk about someone like Deron Williams or something.

In High School Deron was the second best Guard on his team.

He was one half of the backcourt at The Colony High School in a suburb of Dallas along with Bracey Wright who was a starter at Indiana.

Bracey's dad Carl Wright played at SMU and was one of the greatest dunkers I've ever seen.

Deron matured a lot at Illinois and as a result he's a pretty solid NBA player.

Very smart player that will be an All-Star before he retires.

DERON WILLIAMS. Probably in the top 5 PGs in the league already.

As far as a "pure" PG goes, Deron is probably better than Harris/Terry.

And you know where my loyalties are.

    My criteria is this:

    1) They "run the offense".
    2) They are not known as "shoot-first" guards.
    3) Dimes.

I'm talking the best PGs NOW. And besides, I have a vague memory of what Kidd's playoff performances were. I remember he made it to the finals once and got ?

    1st is Nash at 12.0
    2nd is Williams at 9.1
tied for 3rd is Kidd and Paul at 9.0

And Kidd made it to the Finals twice. The first time they got swept by the Lakers, the second time they lost to the Spurs in six games.

Okay, factor in youth and potential. Kidd is on the decline.

If you're looking to win a title in the next 5 years, talent and potential are big.

What are the rest of yallz picks?
