My new co-worker scares my Euro-ass with his stories about guns in the USA; he has lived for 17 years in Bedford-Stuyvessant Brooklyn and has only been near actual gunfire two times but has stories for days, scary stuff.Who of you owns a gun at home ? Vanguard Squad stand up. Might have been asked before.

    when I lived in Bed-Stuy a few years back, it was pretty typical( if un-nerving) to be awoken briefly by distant gunfire a couple nights a week.



    at the flea today a dealer whose lp piles I was scouring asked me if I was interested in buying in a gun - I declined.

    my ruger 9mm was stolen in a burgulary....but i'm looking for a new one. a H&K would would be nice.

    I have a couple rifles, a 30-30 and a .22, one of them is a pump action...the "shuh-chank" of cocking a pump action is a universal sound everyone knows...runs the car-breaking-into crackheads outta of the parking lot where I live. Have occasional gunfire in the neighborhood. I have a bullethole in my bedroom window, the result of some dudes arguing outside my place one night...my neighborhood can be exciting.

    there is gunfire weekly in my neighborhood. I've been numb to it since I lived in Humboldt Park. I don't personally own a gun, but my pops does, as do alot of my friends.

    Here's mine..


    My grandpa sawed it off to the legal limit.

    My dad gave me a Spanish six shooter i used to keep in the small of my back when I lived in the SFM but he wanted it back.

    Fortunately I never had to use them but trust me, if someone invades my home, they wont walk out.

    My roommate owns a 50 cal. He also owns an AK as does my other roommate.

    Strapped through the roof.

    I, on the other hand, am anti-gun. But I will shoot them.

    I don't own a gun, but when I worked for the FBI, I got certified to carry a pistol. Unfortunately (or perhaps fortunately), they wouldn't give me one.

    Yeah, AKs are legal so long as they're semi-autos.

    My ex girlfriend had a Glock go off in her purse at the Law Firm she worked in.







    The firm didn't want to fire her but building management gave her a tresspassing deal.



    She should not have had it. I doubt she could even aim that thing, but she had a reason.
