rewire is a Steinberg "interface" between audio applications as far as I know. Your best bet is probably to get a pirate copy of Cubase SX since they're responsible both for VSTi and Rewire. -

I was just using Reason as an example...it sounds alright if you make the beat in Reason only, but if you rewire it to a sequencer, it sounds awful. you can use chains of VST effects to fix it, but then, it's just a waste of CPU. just sayin'. -

id say just dont backcue as much as you need to. also follow the guidlines for tonearm height and weight specifications for the specific needle your using, both too much weight and too little weight can cause uneeded cue burn. -

i don't know about too light, never heard or experienced that, but you are probably just too heavy. pull the weights out away from the pivot.. -

or you could make acetates. $40 buys you 3 or 4 songs per side on a 12". They last for awhile if you use the aforementioned light tonearm procedure. -

it's kinda glared out, but try taking a piece of folded paper and stuffing in the space (ayo!) where the tone arm swivels. It helps to stabilize the arm. Also make sure that the tonearm lock is engaged - shit get's all nimbly pimbly if it ain't -

Tonearm bearings could be misadjusted, but that would required a techie to do the job. Antiskating could be the problem too. -
