This is pretty old in internet terms (in reality, 3-4 days old), but I'm diggin' it. I'm usually not a fan of remix/mashup albums - 'specially when the novelty of it is more important then the music itself - but this sounds good and tasteful to me.

With the disclaimer that I've only listened through this once and that, admittedly my own fault, I went into this expecting something more along the lines of Look Out For Detox I was really underwhelmed by this record.
Not sure who produced it but would be very intrigued about when work was started on the tracks as it sounds like Kendrick got half way through putting together something which sounds like what I'm kind of expecting to hear when Jay Electronica finally puts out an album (sort of a safe, throwback jazz, sound) and then MBDTF came out and he spent the rest of it asking producers for beats that paid "tribute" to the sound Kanye produced on that album. Obviously goes without saying that I approve of this influence but some songs sound so close it goes beyond influence to a pastiche level. Doesn't really help that from what I picked up in a less than entirely focused listen on commute that most of the subject matter seems pretty uninteresting too which is a bigger deal if you're underplaying the production as is the case on the jazzier tracks..
