Also, the Thread goes Full Circle. New Killer Mike still killer.
I was about to post these 2, sooooo gooood.
peace,xavier
Yeah love these though I have to say that I found the rest of the album a let down after the quality of the first two Grind albums. Will give it a few more listens because, you know, it's Killer Mike, but was expecting something with a bit more bite rather than the poppier release that seems to have been decided on.
i'm sure people that are better connected to what's going on could provide some counter-examples, but i feel like this is the first time in a while that i've heard/seen some NYC hip-hop with some muthafuckin SEX in it.
Anybody remember the name of that vid of a London MC rapping to some 8-Bit dubstep kind of beat? He gets interrupted halfway through by some lady walking past, and then carries on...

That Thraxx chick sounds like a combination of Tyler and Nikki. Next...
your assessment is irrefutable. i will not defend the subject matter of her raps either. im just digging on the beat and the was she flows over it (first verse).
Really wanted to like this tape but this track is the only one I really come back to.
It took me a long time to warm up to the whole thing - I still skip the Trey Songz track and can't really get through all of Killin Em. But yea, it's a good summer tape imo.

Featuring.....Adele!
It's actually terrible, the pairing doesn't work at all.
Anyhow - this tape is solid.
And a bunch of new stuff on...

so good, and apparently in july he's planning on releasing his 3rd mixtape in like 6 months.
And produced by Necro?! Crazy.
I had a very good walk yesterday with two rounds of this pair

Slept on his name.

Yeah, that's pretty sick.
