I originally bought this 7" for the Afro Funk cut "Tamadiara" on the B-Side, but I've really grown to love "Moko Diolo" on Side A. The music is so good, I can deal with the moldy cover!
sorry i'm late on record day! got 2 more rips on the way. for now, here's New Sounds Over New Orleans by the Paul Guma Quartet. solid jazz, some moments better than others. has a cover of "Alligator Boogaloo" and "Hip Hugger". The only real mention of it i could find online is from Manny Balone. enjoy.
Alright. I went ahead and ripped a couple to add to the pot. This one isn't super rare, but its super funky, and the pressing I have is Mexican, which should make it that much more spicy.

Obscure Boom Bap shit. Maybe this song would have got more spins if dudes name was actually pronounceable.
Omniscence? I miss spelled it three times looking at the sleeve.

While I don't have anything that compare to the gems posted in this thread i do want to thank you guys for posting such rare, great records.
So here is a rip of my copy of the Venom Live 7" that came out on Thurston Moore's Ecstatic Peace label back in 1991. For those that don't know it was recorded by the soundman at a Black Flag/Venom gig in New Jersey. All the songs have been edited out leaving just the hilarious banter between the frontman 'Cronos' and the crowd.
"This is a mystical Christian folk album with beautiful vocals and an ethereal feel. Most of the songs aren't really structured, but just kind of flow. It's very mellow, but there are drums and nice, drifting electric guitar on some of the songs. The canon vocals on "Blessed Be" and "Jesus Eyes" are hypnotic and the use of bells, chimes, woodwinds and mandolins give this album a distinctive sound. The memorable melodies make this more accessible than similarly complex X-ian albums like The Christ Tree. Not for "rock" fans, but a lovely, special record. [AM]"
TRACKS:
SIDE 1
WHO AM I?
CHRIST, LORD, MESSIAH
LET ME WANT YOU
I AM COME NIGH
SIDE 2
BLESSED BE
JESUS'S EYES
MORE LIKE YOU
LET ME IN YOUR LIGHT
ALL THINGS

Thanks, man! Excited to give this a listen!
so good in that crusaders kinda way.
I found a couple copies of the Shekinah record in a thrift store in Ann Arbor some years ago. Cool record!
Did you sell any to Nathan, DJ Shanti OM? That's the pic of the one I got from him who put me up on it.
Anyone has these for re-up? 10 download limit :(
