Future raer. Limited from a pressing of 500. Modern electro funk with some hip hop sprinkled in. Its pretty good IMO.

This might be my most interesting find of 2010... 12" double sider from 1977. Smoked the fuck out disco funk with some kind of West Indian connection, although this is not from New York City (or the West Indies). No scan for this one, some things gotta remain secrete.

Nice piece of synthy jazz fusion from Argentina (1983). Picked it up a few years back over there, not sure how raer but I havent ever heard it anywhere else. If you liked that Ted Picou that was posted before, this will be to your liking.
Ripped in Wav files. Zipped into Side 1 and Side 2 files.

Really wanted to get involved this year. I'd planned to rip a whole bunch of vintage punk and post-punk shit my brother had kept in storage for me for years, but he got offered some work with Kings of Leon at short notice and couldn't make it down to London this weekend with the records. Maybe next time.
Anyway, as always, Record Day on Soul Strut is an education as well as an illustration of the exceptional taste and generosity of so many of its contributors. Thanks, everyone.
Was going to upload this last night but didn't get to it. Anyway, cool Colombian psych/folk record that I picked up when I was in Ecuador. I didn't have time to rip the full thing so here are, IMO, the best tracks: DOWNLOAD MP3s DOWNLOAD WAVs
You guys might just be some of my favorite people around. Thanks to everyone for posting. I'm gonna try and get a few rips up tomorrow afternoon. How long is this thing going on?

Here's the full version of "Dreams". They edited out the first part for the Panama! 2 comp on Soundway (understandably), but I kind like the context of the first part in relation to the full track.

Classic. But I've never seen that label before! Love the typeface.
The four writers credited on the record are all completely bullshit fake names.

Yes you are right, I always get the covers confused.
I actually don't have the one you posted, then. Thanks for the rip, man!
