I don't know why this is such a stretch to you guys. Secret societies have existed and been documented since we've had sedentary civilizations. They serve a wide variety of societal purposes, and they've been written about extensively by academics. Read the "Serpent and the Rainbow" for a documentation of secret societies is Haiti. And by mass mind control Harvey doesn't mean subliminal messages on tv, hypnotism, or anything like that. Its about information control and propaganda. The thing about secret societies is as a culture we've fanatized about them being occult or into mystic arts, having supernatural powers, etc. Its not about that at all, its about maintaining power/the staus quo, or inversly turning those things upside down. The CIA and KGB were secret societies at one point.
