do you dudes wear cologne? i think my coworker takes a bath in it every morning before work. it's so assaultive that i can't bear to be around him for more than a minute. i'm always talking really fast and trying to speed up the convo because i am seriously holding my breath. then when he leaves my cube, it's like he never really left. anyway, i don't know very many women that like their dudes smelling fancy.

do you wear it everyday? yeah i guess it also matters what it smells like. this stuff has to be some rite aid crud. actually i take it back, i don't like musky cologne but there have been some cologne that i like such as eternity and the issey miyake one but i think that's because it's a scent that isn't so dudeish and women could probably wear

p.s. i bet these guys smell horrible

  • I completely despise cologne. It gives me a headache sometimes, depending on how strong it is. Soap, Water, Lotion, Deodorant..is as far as it goes here. Because

Ah, but to the discerning guidette, their scent is an alluring concoction of cigarettes, B.O., Axe body spray, and rohypnol.

cologne is the first step in bitchmade. That shit is gross, just get some deodorant that doesn't smell like axe or some other preteen bullshit. The only people that should be able to smell you are the ones that are close enough to your body to kiss you.

I will never support those kind of maneuvers.

    NOT A GOOD SCENT

  • Lacoste

  • You should only be able to smell someone's cologne if you are all up in their heezy. Anything beyond that is too much.

If you have good taste you can rock a nice cologne in the right way. Most folks lack that though. There are some great scents that do not smell like Axe/Old Spice/Drakkar.

  • Lacoste

This is one of them, smells great (in moderation)

Never. Disgusting stuff. And on the flipside I hate the smell of perfume or most scented body products on girls. Fine, call me a Santa Cruz hippie, but it's true.

I keep a small bottle of Banana Republic cologne that I bought over 7 years ago that is still full as I only use it and barely at that about once every 6 months.

Its all 'bout subtlety. And knowing which scents work w/ your own scent. Not just puttin somethin on cause the name is hot or its "expensive".

Something as simple as Mint can get a woman open. And you shouldnt be wearing it to "attract" someone anyways.

I wear Old Spice deodorant, and it pleases my wife. I want nothing more.

If you can smell someone coming, that person stinks.

Smells the same as it ever has, at least the last time I checked. But yeah, your assumption seems valid.

I don't know why I let myself get talked into buying a bottle anyway. I swear a tester could last me 5 years.

I rock after shave, nothing fancy, just some
stuff I get at CVS for $6. Typically, it will
smell a bit strong in the AM just after slapping
it on (first get into work, sometimes get a "whoa!"
from co-workers) but after a little while it settles
in and is more subtle ... and I get compliments on it
    from the ladies fairly often.

nothing wrong w cologne if you only apply it in EXTREMELY limited amounts. the idea is that only someone yr getting close to smells it. it's supposed to have subtlety.

if yr using lotions or whatever a la batmon its not necessary.

i have armani code black, certainly don't wear it every day, it is a special occasions kind of thing.

i used to be all against it but i was also only familiar w/ the dudes who douse themselves in it, was unaware that REAL ADULTS can actually make it work.
