    "The Pearl" is corny--"Black Jesus" or just "Jesus" is much better.

    Now you got names like Mamba, T-Mac, Air Canada, and The Answer.

    "The Answer" is classic. "Mamba" is notable not just for its corniness, but for the fact that it is self-bestowed.

    I like the ring "The Pearl".

    The Answer, is more about the crossovers, dunks, cornrows, doorags, jerseys, and chains, and the Philly association, more than the knickname IMO.

    Agreed. Nobody calls Kobe, Mamba anyway. LA broadcasters say "Number 24" a lot.

    It's pretty crazy that the Rockets went from 10th to first in their conference. Utah is lucky for their weak division, they'd be 7 or 8 otherwise. Shit is still tight like, well, a virgin.
