Finesse is fuckin' fantastic. Also, I'm a big Super Lover Cee fan. Lyrically, he's kinda but his flow, his delivery, and the way he rides beats is great.

I am mystified as to why Lord Finesse seems to be appearing on everyone's list.

I got a lotta love for the dude, but favorite all-time rappers?

    LIKES THE GAME

    UNDERSTANDS THE GAME.

I know - you've said before how much you "feel like you already know him".

I don't really see what that has to do with dissing Lord Finesse, though.

Indeed. I have a fragile mind that could potentially be warped by such heinous analysis.

dude makes me laugh. its as simple as that. I hear slick rick and I enjoy it, nod my head, etc. same for biggie, same for rakim, but with finesse I do that AND he gets extra points for being so damn witty and humorous. plus his little swagger is a plus. hes no rakim, but I like finesse just the same.

fall back deej. I like you (no homo) and all, but...Read up on your read ups in this thread please.

    1. We've had the Eazy E debate on here before. You and I spoke are pieces then. I see no need to re-hash that. Read closely and you will see that the dude that dropped Eazy was actaully clowning, i.e. there's no good W. Coast rappers and dude didn't even write his own rhymes, etc.

    2. No one was hating on Lord Finesse. I was simply struck by the frequency with which his name came up in these posts. I have always enjoyed Finesse. matter of fact do a search and you will see I started a tribute thread in here about three months back on Finesse's Game Plan video. the thread was titled "I get bitches open like a Caesarian"

    3. The Cappadonna thing is a joke that faux and Jonny like to bring up because of their lack of original material and general mental midgetry. I once made the mistake of mentioning that Cappa was not so bad compared to the likes of G-d-awful U-God, and that he actually had a good verse on OnlyBuilt4. In true soulstrut fashion, I am suddenly the Cappadonna rider.

    4. As for this thread , only one talking about Game and Cappadonna was Jonny. He brought it up outta nowhere. I never dropped my favorite rapper selections in this thread. And neither the Game nor Cappa would be anywhere near my top 5 if I did.

    5. The Game is nice.
