I'm new, and dig it around here, so I'll bite:

3. 7 yrs in 'da game'. took the better part of 2 years off, though, as i was at an impasse, and didn't know what i needed next.
4. soul/jazz/late-80s-mid-90s hip hop...nothing too exciting. really into Latin of late. have a bunch of guided by voices & pavement stuff on the indie tip(non-LP).
5. came up on a google search for something. made me laugh, i stuck around.
6. Linda Lyndell- "What a Man," & the 8th Day- "She's Not Just Another Woman". These two are the wedding set at my wedding this September.

7. The other night, my lady and I cooked jerk tofu on skewers with various other vegetables and drank red stripe while watching "Rockers." (She had never seen it)

????? funk, soul, disco, reggae, hiphop. I am mostly into funk 45s i suppose. Recently started getting my bollywood funk learn on.

I can't remember....i have been here off-and-on for a long long time.
6. Your most prized record and why?
Probably my Naomi Davis 10" test press, just cause its a fucking awesome track, and is definately my most exclusive track too.

Jerk Tofu(marinate tofu in jerk marinade then cook) But Tofu aint my thang.

Music I Collect: Soul (all kinds but I've got a sweet tooth for falsetto leads and group harmonies), reggae (vocal and dub, late 60s to early 80s), jazz (hard, modal, somewhat spiritual but not too free, a bit of soul-jazz and fusion but not much), brazilian (60s-early 70s)... and a bit of everything else.
5. What Brought Me To Soulstrut: a mention on Phill Most's WOB site years ago around the time of brainfreeze. It had to do with a racial argument, no lie.
