Every record was 50 cents today, even though from 3 different neighborhood yard/garage sales...won't dig up photos for most of these dollarbincommons, except for this one, which was in amazing condition for a "Peter Pan" LP owned by a kid, and has some seriously ill shit, "The Six Million Dollar Man" & "Police Woman" both have open drum breaks, crazy sound effects, and dope G-Funk synths:
Rest of the Yard Sale half-buckers:
Cat Mother and the All-Night Newsboys - S/T Porter Wagoner - Carroll County Incident Dells - There Is [/b](double) Idris Muhammad - Boogie to the Top Hydraulic Funk feat. Afrika Bambaataa - Spell of Kingo 2x Promo LP (??) Contraband - Time & Space Dynamic Superiors - S/T Jefferson Starship - Blows Against The Empire MTUME - Kiss This World Goodbye Roxy Music - Siren The Angels - My Boyfriends Back [/b](Smash OG) Gentle Giant - The Power and the Glory Neil Young - Comes a Time Jefferson Airplane - Crown of Creation Janis Ian - Between the Lines Tom Waits - Closing Time Harpers Bizarre - 4 [/b](one of the funniest covers I've seen in a minute) Killah Kuts 12" - Let's Get It On/Indian Flute/This Ain't Funny[/b]
Also a few scores made yesterday from my Friday spot checks:
..and a bunch of dope 50 cent 45's, the best of which was "Uphill Peace of Mind" - The Gospel Truth - Kayvette 1975[/b], which turned out to not only be an ill song, but has the "You got the time/I got the time, You got the feeling" sample from Dre Day[/b]!! Nice.
That sun-ra has a dope synth solo for like a whole side of the record, right?
I've found that cloud one at least 3 times the last year. One just last week. I don't care for it, but it's popular... always goes out my door quick.
No likey the cloud one? damn man, that's a definite fave.
Haven't listened to the Sun Ra yet... Um... did I mention I got "Musart"? But it's interesting - the two copies I've found pictures of online have different covers from each other and from mine.
Nice hand! I see you and raise these records which just arrived in the shop today:
Esg II - Babm-Bam Jam (Emerald Sapphire) unplayed OG Material - Secret Life (Jungle) Contortions - Buy (Ze) DAF - 1st Step to Heaven (Ariola) Os Mutantes - Dom Quixote (Polydor) OK this one came via e-bay and the US Postal Service but it did arrive today
I couldn't find this on popsike. Is it valuable???
I'm assuming your kidding, but I was happy to find a clean copy for $5, since it's the type of LP some stores will try to get $15 or so for even though it's "common," just because people "have afros on the cover." By the way, if you don't have it, common or not, it's dope.
The Fourth Way-S/T Dave Grusin- Discovered Again Cusco- Apurimac Joe Simon- Drowning In The Sea Of Love Jimmy Castor- The Everything Man Tower Of Power-Bump City Spooky Tooth- Spooky Two

Ha! I wish. Dude, the butterscotch scene has been KILLING that record. Hard to even find a clean copy these days.
No, I can't find this on popsike and I would really like to know its value. There are afros on the cover, so I assume it sounds like jackson five???
I dont about that butterscotch scene steez, but this has always been a dollar binner wherever I have lived.
