    Hey,

KG's tires have a lot of miles on them, and it looks like it. The wear has taken its toll on his game. He lacks that old fire and intensity.

    Peace,

    Big Stacks from Kakalak

except that he was playing great just a week ago ... ?

I mean, yeah, he may be burning out early from age and wear, but I gotta think he is hurt to be playing this badly.

Officiating in this series has been awful so far. The playoff officiating thus far had been ok, but hella phantom fouls for both sides.
Refs, you are not the stars. Let them play.

Rondo is playing on a different level

Let's not get carried away.....Rondo had a very good 4th qtr

    b/w

The box score does not tell the real story of this game........Lakers in 5

I think KG's gotta be hurt and they just haven't said anything about it. He didn't look this bad in the earlier series of the playoffs.

I only got to see it from midway through the third quarter on.....

I don't see the Lakers winning 2 in Boston.

No, he had an incredible game topped by the block on Fisher and poking the ball away from Kobe in the 4th and a triple double to just make his case.

    yeah, refs were terrible today...

pierce and garnett need to crank it up a notch... rondo and r.allen carried the celts today...

    Pierce defending was FIERCE.

Now a best-of-five with 3 games in Boston. I will take that.

    "Bad Officiating" = FAIL

U DONT WANNA SEE PAUL PIERCE EMERGE

    Where is Ron Artest?

    Rondo = Rebounds

    Sid Haig > Jack Nicolson

Boston has no inside presense + the offense looks mad suspect

I dont recall Boston winning last time w/ a 20/10 Garnett every game.

Big Baby Davis' BLOCK on Bynum was the real.

    Nate Robinson.................... :PFUNK:

The Bad Officiating Critique is on some real lazy blame somebody else but the team bullshit.

I'm saying the game is officiated badly for both sides. There are tons of phantom fouls going against both sides.

  • edpowersedpowers 4,437 Posts
KG is fine.....Miami,Cleveland and Orlando didn't have anyone who could defend him

nice win...great adjustments by Doc.....However, he can't go with this same game plan again or they'll get ran off the floor.....Paul has to play huge in Game#3

Those last 3 Fouls on Kobe probably won't get much press..but, every one of those fouls drastically change the momentum of the game

So if its bad for both sides, what's the problem?

I never hear the winning team claim that shit.

"u know we won the championship despite the terrible officiating"

I don't find a duel of free throws and "who has more fouls...therefore has to sit on the bench" the best way to officiate or watch a finals. Get the bee out your bonnet foxbat.

    RAH RAH and BLAH BLAH

it was pretty quiet around here after Game #1.........ehh

Kobe's 3rd,4th and 5th fouls were complete bullshit and they all came during Laker runs

Home Court doesn't mean anything because Boston is terrible at home

Ray does this once every series then falls off the face of the earth

The game was not officiated bad on both sides because part of Boston's game plan was to put The Lakers on the FT line

yeah, except for you dropping pearls of knowledge like this:

    edpowers said:

Rajon Rondo is like the 6th or 7th best point guard if he played in the Western Conference???......Boston is done???

    straight comedy.

Ok Hockey man....i'll take Lakers in 6.....Ray Allen had to set a NBA record just to keep it close....lol

i'm sure you can't name 7 point guards in the Western Conference so i'll help

    1)Steve Nash
    2)Deron Williams
    3)Tony Parker
    4)Chris Paul
    5)Jason Kidd
    6)Russell Westbrook
    7)Chauncey Billups

Rajon Rondo is not better than any of the above...he's a great player ..but lucky for him he plays in Boston....his game tonight wasn't any more "next level" than anything any Western Conference guard does on a nightly......put Rondo on Golden State he wouldn't even be half the player Monta is.

  • SoulOnIceSoulOnIce 13,027 Posts
yeah, we should poll the GM's around the league and ask whether they want Rondo or Kidd.

why do you play yourself in these threads like this?

I respect the passion, and you know the game - better than me, I'm sure - but your hype blows up your senses.

  • edpowersedpowers 4,437 Posts
i think Jason Kidd is a better point guard...eliminate Kidd, Rondo is still 6th in the west and lower overall.....I like Rondo but the hype is way too much.....dude is playing with 3 Legends....Ray Allen won this game not Rondo's play

Thanks for letting me know i'm playing myself......i'll bow out now and be back to offer congratulations when The Celtics win.

    If Kobe fouls out soon

Never happen. There's not a ref in the league who would whistle Kobe Bryant for his sixth foul in the playoffs.

    b/w

I was loving Artest in the closing minutes of the game. Lakers need to hit some 3s in a hurry, and Ron dribbles around...dribbles around...dribbles around...picks up his dribble...holds the ball.... I was actually kinda bummed he fouled out. The whole defensive strategy for the Celtics would've been "get the ball in Artest's hands, then just let Ron be Ron."

    Bonus track: RAY UCONN!

PG depth in the West is crazy.

    Add Curry & Tyreke.

Rondo is in the L Top 5.

the hype is because Rondo is real. and playing for his second Championship in 3 years.

"big three" or not, anyone who watched the Celtics at all this year knows they are only in the playoffs because of Rondo.
