You like how I did that with the date? pretty anal huh?Anyways I took a picture of mine and surrounded them with clouds. I think its very pretty. I think I got quite a few AlGarth leftovers at the thrift because of the San Diego Record Show stamped all over the records. I dont care. Thanks Al!! These were all definitely worth a dollar. Except for ferrante and teicher, which always sucks ass, except it had a shaft cover, and i thought, what the hell. moderhater, is this pic too wide?

After 14 months of searching I finally got this... it was a little more than I wanted to pay, but from what I hear it NEVER turns up at any price... Anyone else heard it... it's 101%
That guy always brings the heat PLUS a great musician as well. What's on that one?

I kinda look at it like a "AlGarth Was Here" type thing. Plus I get the feeling that he is the one that donated them. Which to me is funny.
It's like some Soulful Spiritual Jazz with a funky fusion edge... real dope album. Features some good players; Steve Grossman, George Cables, Lenny White, Alphonse Mouzon, Charles Sullivan and more... Saundra Hewitt (Ubiquity) sings on a couple of tracks... It's kinda like the Harry Whittaker album...
Standout tracks are "Umma Be Me", "Understanding".... the whole thing's sweet....

Some of these weren't in the greatest condition (the cymande could stand to be minted up, if you know what I'm saying). But to make the glass 1/2 full, I'll say that they sound more "dusty"
Ha ha yeah biatches! Don't worry so much about WHY I do strange things like stamping and bringing decent stuff to the thrift store,,,... just be greatful that I do!
lol actually those records were in an ad I ran selling for 33.3?? each (sorry you paid $1 dizzy). The stamp is an idea I bit from a local DJ named sugar bear who's records I used to find in ALL the thrifts around the early 90's. I still have a few in my collection somewhere. I only stamp my thrift donations to see how far they will travel etc.. So far so good I see. Annoying perhaps, but still you can't front on Cymande even with a stamp! BTW that was in there because of the condition. And the Getting Straight has a crack through the break.
Locals can catch Dizzy's leftovers at the Baras on University.

P.S. If you like my giveaways, come see what I sell at the San Diego record show.
It was originally released in Sweden on metronome with a different title. This is the US issue and I'm pretty sure the title is "Second Carneval"? I can't remember which but I think it's US issue to "Boogie Woogie".
