Well... not that I'm biased, but at 19 years of age, Deli Alli looked like the best player on the park last night. Against the world champions Germany

Deli Alli the English Zidane, Vardy knocking 'em in for fun - it's only my opinion, but we are 100% definitely, definitely going to win it this time.

    Jon Stones tho.
Surely pre-requisite for defender is to avoid slipping with ball at feet in front of goal. See also: John Terry

    Vardy: criminally awful interviewee.
TV dude: so Jamie, 4 years ago you were playing non-league in front of 700 fans and tonight you've scored for England on your Wembley debut. How do you feel?

    Vardy scared chicken doppelgänger:
    yeah, disappointed with the result

    FUCK THE FUCK OFF

Besides being able to kick a ball straight and being a magnet for gold-diggers, most pros have very, very little in the personality department.

See also: John Terry, Michael Owen, Daniel Sturridge.

In a very, very small way, I enjoy the fact that the one BARTON has some form of opinion, however ill-informed.  But yeah, the rest of him is a c*nt.

    See also: Gary Neville

    Ronnie Corbett RIP

I recall hearing he was a nasty piece of work IRL.  Lording it up at the Golf club, telling managers to clear busy restaurants for his sole use and such.

Barker was the better Ronnie IMHO.

But is Carrol that good, or is the Arsenal defence just shit? Answers on a postcard to the usual address.

Well done Citeh, glad you're keeping the co-efficient up.

    Andy Carroll's hair though.
    Plait shit, get banged.

Yes, I'd be happier to see Pellegrini go out with a big trophy than see Ibrabitch or the tippy tappy teapots win it.

The competition just got more interesting, but I guess Bayern & Real are the favourites.
If Citeh should win it they would fit the pattern of Prem teams that have underperformed in the league - is this the secret to a good cup run?

  • skelskel You can't cheat karma 5,033 Posts
No, cos then Arsenal would win it every year

Hah, or fourth place is Arsenal over performing.

    pew pew pew.    shots fired.

how dare you talk about the bayern/mannschaft farm team like that.

Let's just leave Arsenal out of this :whycry:
Great match between Liverpool & Dortmund. Terrible defending from both sides and a Hail Mary winner. Would've taken Klopp at Arsenal. Sigh.

Fuckin' hell. I'm in the north of Thailand and looks like I've missed one of the games of the year. Liverpool wins like this and odds they probably lose to Bournemouth this weekend. Leicester City will probably win the league and I can't walk anywhere in this city I'm in during the day without getting soaked. What a time to be alive.

The season is shaping up pretty interestingly so far. Could be tight affair. My early prediction for those for the drop are West Brom, Bournemouth & Sunderland or Newcastle.
Glad I didn't include Liecester in that list, who would've predicted their rise. Still two outa 3 relegation seeking clubs is pretty good.

Sorry chaps, been away to Barca meself.  Did put Duder in the loop but I guess being borlz-deep in Spanish totty just edged a potential encounter with my mother-in-law.

St*ve, would have been happy with any of those, can't expect to win it without doing at least one of the "Big Clubs".  Real obviously a stronger side, but this season is one of constant surprises.

It wasn't a conscious decision, but I'm putting aside all spare moolah at the mo towards a flat for me & her. She seems serious/besotted, I'm still expecting to wake up in Oxford to the sound of an argument over who gets to drink the bong water.
