Back to Raj's point about not seeing Obama lawn signs... This might have to do EVERYTHING with the fact that the Obama campaign is not giving away free lawn signs anymore. They're asking supporters to pay up to $15 dollars for them. Lawn signs/stickers aren't necessarily even a decent indicator of what people will vote for. If that's the case, Obama's gonna win Houston and surrounding suburbs in a MASSIVE landslide. I think I've seen no more than 50 McCain stickers since the election started and I couldn't begin to count Obama tees, buttons and stickers if I wanted to.b,121b,121...and this is Texas...
Election is still very close but I think it's started to turn slightly for Obama. The last polling numbers I saw for swing states had Obama in the lead in most of the important ones, and it was beyond the margin of error. The numbers after the poll have Obama up, plus another said far more think Obama is better suited to deal with the economic mess than McCain and the press, even some conservatives now, are going after Palin more. Like I said before, the Palin and I'm suspending the campaign were political theater meant to change the press coverage, but in the end will come back to bite McCain in the ass and that seems to be what's happening now.
