This reminds me of my stay in france multiple years ago. I spent a lot of time in the record store, 12 inch, and one of the workers would always play this track. I definitely came home with that record.
Awesome track I have it on a comp . The original 12 goes for a lot of money (according to popsike Around $400 US)
first couple of times cause it's so good and then I could hear the ghost of another song in it and I listened another three times before I figured out I was hearing the words to See and Don't See by Queenie Lyons to the Nightingale song
A bit of a strange one for me in that it's William Bell's I Forgot To Be Your Lover. Now I know this song well enough but just the other day I was in the car, it came on the stereo, and a friend stopped talking and asked me how great I thought this song was. I dismissively said that I thought it was decent enough to which he gave me a piercing stare and told me that it was one of the most amazing songs he'd ever heard.
