Gonul is on Sakla Samani, which is a compilation of singles he released from 72-76. Dunden Begune is a compilation of recordings from 69-72. Personally I would have preferred Sakla Samani, but I will take what I can get.

Yeah, they were literally together on the shelf...
Phew...this was a crazy weekend. I had to go to a conference for work on Wednesday in Arlington, VA, which I then parlayed into a thrift store digging mission in western VA on Thursday and Friday. Then hit up usual Baltimore spots for more goodness on Sunday.
For the VA trip, it's easier (and more impressive) to stick to just the $.50 finds:
Pais Tropical - Wilson Simonal (!) Samba e Isso - Milton Banana Trio Zambo Caveres - Oscar Aviles Cabuca Granda - Oscar Aviles Candela Verde - Los Corraleros (!) Baile Con...- Don Enrique y Sus Estrellas Esto Si Es Lo Mio - Ismael Rivera Recordar es Vivir - Chacho de la Rosa Una Noche En El Condado - Pepito Torres y Su Orquesta Siboney Drums and Chants: Authentic Afro-Cuban Rhythms - Mongo Santamaria Calypso Carnival - Lord Necktie Ballos - Dionyssis Savopoulos Young Hearts Run Free - Candi Staton Nightflight to Venus - Boney M Walt Disney Studio's The Sounds of Outerspace Boogie Woogie Dancin Shoes - Claudja Barry Inside of Me - Esther Williams S/T - Pieces of a Dream

B-more spot #2 (12"s for $1 each, but after I pulled forty or so out of about 350, the dude said he'd just as soon I take away the whole lot for $50. So, in addition to lots of nice euro-disco/proto-house/house etc. I now have a bunch of Yaz, Madonna, Ten City, Shannon, D-Train type stuff to resell to get that money back) These are the main ones for me:

Yeah, they were literally together on the shelf...
that is so amazing. I need to find someone who will print that MG cover on a guayabera button up shirt.
Both are pretty good, I liked "spaces" more than "folks" though. The vocal cut on "Folks" with Angela Bofill is cool but gets a little corny.
Deep beats and deep crates,
