Crazy finds. I figure if you can't dig until October, that will give some other guys a chance for a couple months .
he just finds a new residence and starts another collection.
well, i'm finally back from a badly needed trip home. it's always good to be back with family, friends, and other loved ones that you've left behind.
but when i wasn't at the beach, parties, bars, or clubs i went record shopping. the following were true FINDS, most of them a buck except for the these trails.
and now my favorites...the local records
Nice Finds!!!! Har You Percussion for 1.00? Damn, I had to pay a bit more for that.
I didn't even see the "these trails". Damn. I usually have to go through like 20 of them every time I dig.
Milwaukie High SChool in the fucking house. Scorpio break? Aquarius? Where did you pick that up?
Gene Clark LP's are from eBay, Little Beaver & Zig Zag Peeps from
a Waxidermy set sale (thanks J!) Sunbar Disco Funk comp is a "Real
Heads Know" joint on RCA from '75, killer pre-disco funk raer tracks,
nabbed it for a buck at a local thrift.
These were all bought locally:
Had every Love on vinyl but the 1st one for years, can finally retire
my CD after landing this one for $2 at King of Records (that place needs
a thread) and was amazed at how much better it sounds on wax. Seguida was
a nice find, in the Stereo Ja*k's new arrivals for cheap, and the Horace
Silver and WCPAEB are sounding pretty nice tonight...
