Drawings that we will use on our next poster for our club..
Sorry for the not-a-good-look fonts all over.
I just would prefer not being sued from a client
In case youre asking yourself, wtf is grafics about this....
This picture is a jigsawpuzzle of about 20 images that have been shot with different lighting to get the idividual parts to look all shiny 'n shit.
I "chop" those images and put them back together.
Result: the product looks much better than it actually does
holy shit man, i really dig your style! this one takes the cake for real.
that shading style and everything is pretty 70's looking, which i love about it. kinda reminds me of the schoolhouse rock artwork in some strange way.
Shouts to my fam over at the mpcforums,...
Thanks for the kind words, i've just picked up on drawing the last year (year and a half maybe..) after having something like a 3 years of not drawing at all just because i kinda forgot about it and didn't have the time..

Like the hippie styled drawings always nice to go haywire with nice warm colors

Nope it's really mixed styles, more like a guide to lps/45s/12s that are common here in cut outs and such, just very good cheapies..
Will defintely put it on here when it's done

I do comics and animation for a living. Here's some stuff:

Damn, these are nice, what kind of colors are you using for these?? Need to be hooked up..
One more, it's fun to use soul titles as themes for pictures..
Thanks! I use regular Gouache or "posterpaint" by Talens. Nothing fancy at all. For this page I just used blue (ultramarine), yellow, red (bordeaux) and white and mixed all the colors from there. First I use a sponge and do a watery background color. I never work on white. Only problem with gouache is that it's hard to mix darker colors without using black (which you better not). So I "deepen" the art a bit after scanning it using photoshop levels.
"I'm stepping out of the picture" is great!
This one I like too:
Are you doing line-animation? Oof, lotta work... I do cut-out animation. I did colorize lots of line animation for other animators. I would never have the patience to do a film that way myself.
