When are you gonna make a tico 45s discog????????
:roar:
I started one but it's daunting since it spans so many years and so many releases. 1955 forward.
Btw, I got your e-mail a while back asking about early Tico albums. I don't have many recommendations but you should check out Pete Terrace Pete With A Latin Beat from 1958. It's not as raw as that Alfredito LP but it's a solid listen.
The US press of this rarely turns up, nice cop. You see the French p/s way more on eBay.

Ha, I was the second bidder on this. I thought that was pretty cheap price for it, I haven't seen it on ebay in a year at least, unless I missed it. I thought it might go for Hit The Bongo type money, thought if I could cop a cheap double of it that it might make good trade bait in the future. Nice score! I'd be pretty excited to see a Tico 45 discog as well...
I saw a copy of that Audio Obstacle Course record at my nearby thrift store yesterday evening. Because I couldn't listen to it I passed on it and picked up a few other ones. What does it sound like?!
Picked up the Cos's "Bunion Bradford Funeral & Marching Band" LP as well. The joint with "Martin's Funeral" and Hybish, Shybish". A hell of an album to say the least.

I've been finding some dope shit lately at antique stores for practically pennies.
Found today. Has one RIDICULOUS heater on it, rest of it is so so.
Here are some 45s I picked up from eBay and other internet sources recently:
Classic Indiana funk. Flipside is a great sweet / group side.
Rare Detroit / Ohio gospel dancer.
Classic deep soul.
Another funk dancer.
And some LPs I picked up two days ago here in Mexico City:
This record really caught me off guard a few yrs ago when I first found it, "STUMP" is definitely a banger!!
Good find!

Same here, I love it. I get put up on so much.
I go through every picture (except usually the lot 45 ones, too much to read haha)
WOW!!
I remember this being one of the first records Soulstrut introduced me to, and I've been after it ever since (about 8 years). Such a great record.
Did you find it for cheap or did it set you back a bit?
Some cheapies from the bay
