    THAT'S SOME SLOW-BONE HEAT!

ha -- to me it sort of sounds/feels like a mid-westerner's take on 'The Spic'

Finally scored a copy of this

I remember this being one of the first records Soulstrut introduced me to, and I've been after it ever since (about 8 years). Such a great record.

Did you find it for cheap or did it set you back a bit?

Somewhere in between. Regardless, it's worth the price tag it commands.

The Noro Tribute was $2 (blue label, but still!), while the rest were from the free bins:

Stage band funk + Daybreak Ltd is a local private Jazz Funk turd Marcofunk dudes should probably be paying $500 for.

yero, what's the deal with this joint? Good?

I couldn't find any information on it but it's actually a pretty good listen. Some slower cooled out tracks that sound a little like roy ayers or leo's sunship or something. Fits into the modern soul category.

I can tell you from long experience that it is amazing what people will trip over themselves to pick up for free that they wouldn't pay a nickle for.

last day of march...found these records on my golden birthday (turned 24 on the 24th!) so i made a micro mix. best of what i got, dropped about 30 cents each on these. mostly 45s but 2 lp cuts. all over the place. enjoy!!

    tracklist:
    The Magistrates - Girl
Alvin Robinson - Let the Good Times Roll
    Benny Spellman - Fortune Teller
    Calender - Hypertension (Part 1)
    The Jalopy Five - ABC
The Rumbles, LTD. - The Music in Me
The Grand Union Board - Nothing Succeeds Like Succession
    The Scramblers - Chopped Chief
The Magistrates - Here Come the Judge
    The Mac-Five - Proud Mary

BREAXXX! are people up on that mac-five album? the cover seemed so familiar when i picked it up.

  • not bad for $1..

Micalizzi is off the hook - feel like im just dipping my toe in the ocean of italian osts with some recent cops-
any other recommendations in that particular genre?

  • trying to be clever or something with a years jump?

Aha no just lazy I guess -
but now that you've mentioned it - why not just keep the monthly finds threads going instead of starting new ones each month?
Maybe we can discover a greater pattern - a system - a larger truth...

any italo osts in your tokio collection you care to recommend?
