I am familiar with all the usual suspects.

Lenny Bruce
Richard Pryor
Bill Hicks
Chris Rock
Dave Chappelle
Eddie Murphy etc

What I am looking for is some newish or under the radar cats that brings the laughs.

Any recommendations ?

I'm a big CK fan and liked Lucky Louie a lot, but I understand that the show had a limited reach. His new show, Louie, on the other hand is phenomenal and I can't see any comedy lovers not feeling it. There are only a handful of legends that can hang with the CK's output, in my opinion. Dude has material for days.

Lots of other favorites have been mentioned already. Just wanted to make sure Paul F. Tompkins gets a mention.

Boo o2!!! that shit was hilarious

i actually had an unpleasant dream that i was doing standup last night at a raucus birthday party. crowd reaction was ok, i was just pacing around telling stories...but in my head i knew my material was coming to an end. i was racking my brain trying to think of shit and i was drawing a blank. so i said, allr ight lets take a little break and get a drink. so i proceeded to the kitchen, got a drink, made some small talk and slipped out the backdoor and onto the next shit

    thought id share

  • I gotta ride for Patton Oswalt...his " werewolves.." CD had me crying.
