While neither of these guys are masters of their craft like some of the above mentioned names, I think both of them have pretty solid stand-up acts to match their acting talents.
I don't think it translates well to my American sensibilities. Plus, there were a few turns of phrase I didn't even understand.
I was interested to know what Americans would make of him. He's pretty big over here, but I wouldn't necessarily expect him to translate well tbh.
A lot of American comediennes don't go over too well this side of the pond, unless they modify their set (badmouthing America always help play to the peanut gallery). Much of it gets written off as "*insert racial group here* people are like this" type comedy.
