okay. we've just completed the new ugly duckling record. i need ideas on who to shop to. any advice would be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance!peace, stein. .

    Einstein, are you really going to be in Germany at the end of this month? I just read that you're going to have a show with UD at a festival I'm going to. In Dortmund. On the 30th.

    How about Ring Records. The Golden Ring library series were produced by Ring Records, I believe. It's a German label that put out Jazz. Like Third Eye or Frank K??llges (drumming plus humming - raer braeks) on a sub of Ring Records. I only know Third Eye, but there must be more.

    By the way, Mr. Wizard was my hero as a kid. Good ol' Don Herbert is the reason why I still have a habit of balancing pepper shakers on tiny mounds of salt at resturants

    No, Splash is a Hip Hop only festival. I'm going to "Juicy Beats" in Dortmund. The line-up says that Ugly Duckling is playing. Could it be Mr. Wizard?

    does anyone know the name of the label that was started by the dude that made the film "scratch"? i know that mixmaster mike was fuckin' with that label for a minute but i don't know if he still is or even if he put anything out with them, i do know that they built a ridiculous recording studio in the SOMA district of san francisco, my boy helped with the construction of that place and showed me around it just before they finished, shits pretty ill. anyone know the name of the label?

    that may be a good look for you guys...

    You should press it up man, even to just sell at shows or whatever, sure you would make your $$$ back and then some.

    I???m surprised your not sticking with your current label, looked like a good situation (lots of press/product in the stores etc).
