Jesus, some y'all must have maids or something. It is an immense struggle to keep my place as clean as it is. How do you do it??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????!
Yeah... I like your spot Daze. I just moved to a One Bedroom little house back in March. Kind of tight, but cozy too. Some friends were in town for the 4th, and took some pics:
The bench was made from railway sleepers and cost me about $20 to make. It was an awesome spot to live, 5 mins walk to a waterhole ,20 mins walk to a waterfall. i used to go rafting and kayaking 10mins from my house as well. There is something that i love about living in nature that fills my soul . I do miss it but where i am living now ( near Byron bay, Northern NSW) has some of the best beaches in Oz. It is a good feeling owning a house and being able to express your creativity through it .One draw back about that house was that it was 4 levels and walking up and down stairs though it kept me fit was a pain in the ass. We are thinking of selling it in a few years (it has doubled in value in 3 years) as i would like to get a block of land and build my own place.
Thanks for the comments... Showing your 'private place' to people is always slightly disconcerting... "What if they think it looks like I'm tasteless/rich/poor/gay/insane??"
The coffee table is from Habitat - a (UK only?) furniture chain store, kinda like IKEA but a bit more pricey/better made - as are the vinyl shelves, bookshelves and sofa/armchair. You still have to build the stuff though, which was 'fun'.

Here's the garden i built by hand.
Well you kicked Alhambra's ass! You're in Australia, right? That is a beautiful place.
Also...nice work on the garden bench.
that is the life right there....looks comfy as fuck.
There's less fish in the tank since I took this picture... and more vinyl... and more sneakers.
