I wandered into my coworker's office and she has one. I thought it was just a random picture frame with picture (it was dark in there); I glanced at it and then it changed; scared the shit out of me.
I have it run behind the wine refrigerator that it's sitting on top of.

They don't look as good as film pictures, or even some digital prints on photo paper, but to me it's an entirely different type of product. You won't fool anyone into thinking that it's a film picture in a frame (except that dude who posted above that he got scared when it changed on 'im), but it's like a perpetual slide show, which I can stand behind 100 percent (well, 90 percent - sometimes those pics get old).
Also, the digital picture frame is not intended for the auteurs in our midst. It's targeted at folks with kids, or grandkids, who want to be able to see a bunch of pictures of their kids, or grandkids, without loading/unloading into their computer.
I don't have one, but if I had one, it would be on my desk at work and it would make me happy.
